Chapter 3; just another school day.

This morning I was kind of hyped about going to school Dave made things interesting, my phone bleeped whilst I was in the bathroom so I walked through to my room with my toothbrush in my mouth I clicked on the text it said

‘Morning beautiful, im going to pick you up this today.

Love Dave’

I smiled at the text but then toothpaste started dripping down my face so I had to run back the bathroom my brother Kyle bumped into me “wow, sexy” he said sarcastically as I ran past him, when I was in the bathroom I finished off brushing my teeth and washed my face, when I got back to my room I went through my wardrobe looking for a outfit I eventually picked out my I heart nerds vest, black skinnies, red converse and the baseball jacket Dave bought my, I decided not to bring my bag today so I went straight down stairs to make breakfast, just as I finished I received another text saying

‘Get your small self outside!

I walked outside to see Dave leaning on the hood of his car, he walked towards me gave me hug and then we got in the car, we didn’t speak much on the drive to school just listening to the radio, when we got to school I saw Scar and was just about to walk over to her when I was stopped by Jess “so aren’t you gong to introduce me to your friend?” snapped Jess

“Jess this is Dave, Dave this Jess, happy now?” I growled at her

“Well when did you get here?” Jess asked

“Yesterday” Dave replied

“You should hang with me & mine sometime” Jess said pointing at her dispels

“Maybe….” Dave said

“Well toodles, mwah” she said walking way and blowing a kiss to Dave

Dave turned to me “who was that?”

“Someone who use to be a so called friend” I replied

I didn’t like Jess much since she turned into a horrible person she had been my friend since she first moved to our middle school but when we got into high school she changed, she put me in a right bad mood now.

During class Dave kept trying to cheer me up but it didn’t seem to work, we both walked to music class I sat in the corner near the piano the teacher told us to pick an instrument up and play it I picked the piano I was the only one in my class who could play it, Dave picked up the guitar and started playing it he was really good at it, our music lessons were pretty much just a jam session, our homework was to write a song for someone and then play it to them, this lesson cheered me up a bit.

I went to the school field instead of getting my lunch, I needed to be alone for a bit but that didn’t last long a boy from my history class found me, me and Aidan had be very close in middle school I had a massive crush on him and I was stupid enough to tell Jess and she told everyone, me and Aidan just drifted apart after that.

“I knew I’d find you here” he pointed out

“Do you need to know our history homework?” I asked

“No, I just wanted to find you, you looked upset and I knew you use to hide out here in middle school” he replied

“I didn’t know you knew, I guess im not as smart as I thought” I said

“You are” he said whilst rugby tackling me to the ground, I didn’t fight it and then just lay on the grass Aidan put his arm out, so I shuffled over to him, I lent my head on his shoulder, he brushed my hair behind my ear

“Ive missed you…” Aidan brought up, I lifted my head to look at him

“I like you when all them rumours went round school” he said, he put his hand on my cheek, he lent in and then placed his lips upon mine I didn’t move I was in shock but then the middle school Vickey took over and I began kissing him back and I felt Aidan slightly smile my arm went from around his chest to around his neck and I began running my fingers through his hair I lightly pulled it as well but then I realised what I was doing and stopped, I got up and started to walk away when Aidan pulled my hand and spun me around he started kissing me again “stop” I whispered so he did

“Vickey come with me” Aidan said whilst guiding me to the parking lot, he found his car “get in” he said

“We can’t ditch school” I replied

“Come on, its just one day” he said opening the car door, I got in, I didn’t know what I was doing but I decided I was going to do it anyways, he drove us to the mall, we sat in the food court going over all the fun we had in middle school and how one and other had changed he certainly had changed he was this comic book geek and now he was a skater kid, he now wears baggy jeans, vest or sweat shirts and beanies, im in love with them, I hadn’t changed much except the fact I don’t look like a kid anymore, ive grown up apparently that made me laugh.

I looked at my watch shocked that school had finished already, Aidan thought it would be a good idea to go to the skate park, he introduced me to all his friends, I just sat and watched Aidan skate board he was really good and fun to watch, some how he managed to convince me into having ago, apparently I was good for a beginner but I thought I was shocking, I got quite a few of the boys numbers and they all added me on facebook, I was quite the hit which was strange.

Aidan drove me home and walked me to my door he asked “Vickey may I take you out on a date this Friday?” I agreed to it he kissed my fore head then got his car and drove away, “what’s with all the guys after you sis?” Kyle said it scared me because I didn’t realise he was stood behind me

“One guy, Kyle” I replied

“What about the guy yesterday, the one that drove you home?”

“He’s just a friend” I shouted from the top of the stairs, I jumped on my bed and just stared at my ceiling.
