It was Friday, the day of mine and Aidan’s date, I was nervous and excited but I had to finish school before the actual date, oh the joys of school…
Dave knocked on my door just before I was about to leave “want a ride?” he asked
“No, its okay, I want to walk” I answered
“Im not taking no for an answer” Dave said smiling
“Then why ask, when you could just kidnap me” I said jokingly
I got into the car we drove for about 5minutes before Dave started conversation
“Where were you after lunch, yesterday?” Dave asked
“I don’t want to talk about it” I replied
“I saw you on the field with that guy and I saw you leave with him…” Dave stated
“If you knew why ask?” I snapped
“Why are you ditching school?” he asked
“What’s it to you?” I growled
“Im your friend….” He replied sweetly
“STOP the car, pull over!” I yelled, he pulled over and I jumped out of the car
“Where are you going?” Dave yelled out of the car to me
“Im walking!” I yelled back. I jumped out of my skin when a car drove beside me and honked at me turned to face the car he wheeled down his window “hey good looking, need a lift?” Aidan asked
“In actual fact I do” I smiled smugly at Dave, Aidan opened the door and I climb in his Audi and then Aidan sped down the street.
We were at school now
“Thanks for the ride” I said to Aidan
“Your welcome, I’ll see at seven” Aidan said smiling
“Yeh” I smiled back. I started walking towards my food tech lesson when I was grabbed an spun around
“Have I angered you some how?” Dave asked
“Yeh butting into my life” I replied
“Well im sorry I was concerned” he said sheepishly he hung his head in shame
I lifted his head with me hand “hey im sorry I reacted stupidly” I smiled nervously, Dave lent down hugged me “want a lift later?” Dave asked I nodded, we both walked to food tech.
During food tech me and Dave had food fights, we had flour all over our selves, we got told off quite a few times but we didn’t care, the lesson went pretty fast considering, probably because it was a fun lesson. The next class was music, I went and sat next to my piano and started to play Bella’s lullaby from Twilight, this lesson might as well of been a free period, we had sub-teacher, we all just played random music, for most of the lesson I watched Dave play a song he wrote him self he’s really good, but then the lunch bell went off.
As me and Dave walked to the dinning hall we had light conversation “so, im having a house party, you should come…” Dave mentioned
“Errm maybe… when is it?”
“Tomorrow, you can bring people as well” Dave said before I could answer I was swept away by Aidan I looked over my shoulder and mimed ‘sorry’ to Dave he smiled and then walked away, Aidan had dragged me to school field.
“I couldn’t wait till seven” Aidan stated whilst lifting me into a hug, I lightly giggled into his shoulder, as I looked up he pecked me on the lips I started giggling again, he put me back down on the ground, I rugby tackled him to the floor he rolled over on to me and pinned me down
“No fair! Your stronger than me!” I cried
“Hey you were asking for it, you started this” he replied
I pouted he kissed my neck and then rolled back on to the grass he put his arms behind he head I rolled on to his chest, Aidan wrapped his left arm around my waist and lent his chin on my head, this was perfect until the bell went off it was time for class.
In class I just kept going over lunch in my head I was in a trance and that’s when I got a shock that it was the end of the day already, I rushed home and tore apart my wardrobe looking for an outfit I eventually picked a black silk vest top with blue denim shorts and ballet shoes it was sexy yet casual which is always fun. I walked down stairs I didn’t know Kyle and his friends were here until it was to late…
“Wow, when did you grow up?” Marley said whilst staring at me
“Dude that’s my sister” Kyle said, he punched Marley in the arm
“Why are you all dressed up?” JD shouted to me
“I have a date” I said smiling smugly
“Oh yeh, with who?” JD replied
“Aidan” I responded
“Ah, so you’re the one who my little brother is taking out” Jay said while poking his head round the corner “well I must admit the boy has taste” he said scanning me, I started blushing as I ran away Kyle through a pillow at the back of Jays head.
It was seven and I heard the door bell go, I ran as fast as I could to get there before anyone else, I opened the door “hey bro” Jay shouted from the living room “we should go” I said closing the door behind me. “Was that my brother?” Aidan asked
“Yup…”
“Well that’s awkward… you look really pretty be the way”
“Thankyou” I started blushing I walked over to the car, we drove to a small dinner it was cosy there was a candle on the table and a flower it was lovely, I ordered the pasta Aidan ordered the cheese burger. “You know how long ive wanted to do this” Aidan said placing his hand over mine, I looked at him holding my hand and smiled “you know how long ive liked you?” I replied
“Since middle school?” he said jokingly
“Yes” I said admittedly, he lifted my head “ive liked you just as long” he lent over the table and kissed me, I could feel my cheeks growing pink, and I giggled nervously. Aidan insisted that he paid for everything, we sat in the park under the stars, I told him about Dave’s party he said he would accompany me to it, to some up the night it was one of the best nights of my life. Aidan drove me home, I opened the door to see if Kyle was in and he wasn’t so me and Aidan went to my room we just talked about random things, we were cuddled up on my bed when I could feel my self drifting into dreamland…
