Chapter 4

Works over now and I just arrived at the restraunt thats booked for dinner.

"Sorry for the quik notice darling" my mother said.

"Oh it's fine." I said.

"Hello you must be Grace, What a pleasure to meet you at last." A man who I have never seen befor said. He is a middle aged looking man with kind eyes.

"Yes umm..." I said.

"Oh so is this what you wanted to talk about mom?" I asked as we sat down at our tabel.

"Yes Im sure you have more or less guessed already but...Well were kind of getting married." she said.

I sit there shocked.

"Oh dear your against the idea arn't you." she asked.

To be honest I am but I stayed quiet.

"If you need some time to ajust we can put off the wedding for a little bit." she said trying to make me feel better about the situation.

"No no If youre happy im happy." I said

"You really dont mind?" my soon to be stepfather asked.

"Of course not. Moms been so much brighter recently. Thanks to you, no doubt. Im sure you will look after her." I said.

"Oh of course, I will make her happiness my personal mission untill the day I die." He said smiling.

He does seem like a nice guy mom sould be happy with him.

"oh and my son Josh and his best friend should be here soon they were hanging out this afternoon so I said they could both come you know boys." he laughed.

Wait what im going to have a step brother. Well i should have known he probably had another kid asuming he was married befor too.

"Wait what are we going to do at home darling do you want to live with us?" Mom asked.

"No I think Ill find a place of my own, Its a good oppertunity for a change." I said.

"I see that this is going to affect you rather alot isnt it?" he asked.

"Its fine really!" I said.

"Well you know Josh's friend thats coming here later has a dad that im great friends with and he has a few flats in London that I can rent out for you if you want?" He said.

"Really you would do that for me?" I asked.

"Yes of course dear anything for my future daughter." he said smiling. He seems really nice mother is a lucky one.

"Ohh there you are son!" He looks up. "Grace this is my son Josh and his best friend Harry." he said smiling as they both sat down.

Wait whats Harry doing here?
