"There goes Tyler's bae." Safiyah exclaimed, pointing towards a group of guys in the hall. My neck immediately snaped into the direction she was pointing before my heart instantly dropped in responce. She was right, Khaillou was standing amongst a large pack of guys, yet still I was able to register his face in an instant. Most of the boys where chatting loudly and pushing eachother as he just strolled a bit closer to the back wearing a different facial expression than usual.

"Which one?" Justine questioned, stuffing the remainder of the books into her locker as she slammed the door shut. She began breaking her neck just to catch a glimpse of who Safiyah was rambling about, all though I had a gut feeling of the response I would get.

"The cute one in the button down shirt and timbs." Safiyah added, pointing yet again. Justine quickly looked back at me with a smirk as she nodded her head in approval. "Tyler, you better snatch. He is one of them cute ass brown skins. I mean damn, he even looks delicious in the school uniform." She then said, as Safiyah chuckled in response.

"He's in my photography class." I then mumbled, looking over at him as he crept past us with the clan. I couldn't help the unbearable warm feeling inside me. The feeling of wishing I could just run up to him and throw myself onto his emotionless body. Somehow figure out why today he looked so blue. I haven't actually spoken to him ever since last week Thursday, being that school did get canceled the following day due to a 'snow storm'. "He's actually a pretty nice guy." I then added with a half smile, not forgetting anything from that afternoon.

"Why he looks so sad?" Justine questioned, referring to how Khai was leaning against a locker as the rest of his friends now stood by there next classes holding a convorsation loud enough to be heard from our end of the hall. "You ask her like they're actually together." Safiyah answered with an anoyed eye roll, actually talking the exact words right out of my mouth.

"Go check on him. You guys are friends right?" Justine then responded, "You know you would want him to check on you if you where sad." She added, adjusting her backpack strap on her shouldar. Yeah she was right, but I'm also a sophomore while he's a senior. Now how stupid would that make me look? I barely even know the guy.

Before I could even declear, the late bell rang as students began to give their sweethearts a last kiss and slamming locker door shut to run to class. "Alright, you know how we have lunch this period right." Safiyah said with a smirk, over a whisper audible for both me and Justine able to hear. I slightly nodded, glancing over at Justine as she already held a look of uncertainty. "How bout we sneak into that junior/senior gym class! I mean all they do is go play badminton in the back gym and shit. We can find some cuties up in there too." She added with a chuckle, as my shook my head in response immediately. "Why!?" Safiyah questioned, with an annoyed look.

"That just sounds ridiculous. You really don't think they're are going to catch us!" I exclaimed with another head shake. Saf seemed to always be the one to talk before thinking her worlds out, usually leading her to say complete bs most of the time.

"This does sound kinda stupid, Saf." Justine finally pitched in, as a smirk formed on my face, knowing I was right. It felt refreshing to have at least one sane friend. All though Justine on the other hand was a polar opposite of Safiyah, she often times was the one who would have to help me keep Saf's crazy ideas to a minimum.

"So now what, we're just going to sit in lunch like a normal day?" Saf then asked, walking towards the bathroom door before glancing back at me and Justine. "Am I the only one feeling courageous and wanting to have some type of fun?"

"Well yeah, unless you have some other kind of smart ass idea up your sleeve still." I said sarcastically with a chuckle before pulling out my cellphone from my black cardigan pocket. "Not like they gonna give us a fire drill or some shit." I added, as I continued scrolling through my twitter timeline.
