"Where is he?" Erin asked as she stormed into the house, Emily and Kim following close behind.
When Jay had informed them of Landon's incident at the baseball game, Erin was pissed and rushed home to deal with him. Jay, Adam, Andrew, and Cody had drove home, but still had no clue where Landon had gone.
Now they were all home except for Landon, so they waited. And they waited and they waited and they waited.
Finally, at 4:15 pm, 2 hours past the time of the incident, their anger turned into worry.
"I think we should go looking for him. Bring him back home so we know he's safe." Adam suggested, Andrew, Cody, and Emily nodding in agreement.
"Yeah, let's go. Me, Erin, and Em will team up and you, Kim, Cody, and Andrew can team up. I'm getting worried about him." Jay said.

'What happened? What the fuck just happened? I need to call for help. Fuck, I left my phone in my baseball bag. Holy shit! This hurts!'

"I've checked everywhere I could think; the school, the park, the firehouse, the district, our friends' houses, but he's nowhere!" Cody told them all.
Cody had split up from Adam, Kim, and Andrew and checked other places. Now, everybody had met up at Navy Pier after searching there.
"Well, have we checked Hank's house? Shouldn't we tell him about the situation anyway? Or Will?" Kim suggested, realizing everybody had forgotten about them.
"I know where to look!" Emily suddenly yelled, attention being drawn to her. "I know the path he takes to Grandpa's house! It cuts through some rough sections, but he can get there faster that way. He always tells me never to take that way, but he does it when he's alone."
"Do you know how to get there?" Erin asked her, hoping this was the answer to their problems.
"I think so. I know that you can get to the short cut from North LaSalle, right next to that one apartment complex."
"Let's hit it."

'I need to get help, or at least stop the bleeding. Okay, at the very least I need to stay awake.'

"Em, are you sure this is the way?" Erin questioned as she led them through some bad streets.
"Yes, now come on! And we're getting closer. You just have to cut through the alley up there, hop the fence, and you're basically there." Emily said, entering the alleyway.
"Landon!" Cody suddenly screamed, taking off running down the alley. Soon, everybody knew why he screamed; Landon was on the ground unconscious, blood puddling beneath him from a stab wound in his abdomen.

"Dr. Choi, incoming. Somebody page Dr. Halstead, too!" Maggie called.
"I'm right here, Maggie, what's the problem?" Will asked, flipping through a chart at the nurses' desk.
Before Maggie could answer, paramedics came in, wheeling a gurney with Landon on it. Ethan took charge and began working on him and all Will could do was stand there watching until everybody else came.
