"Hey, Uncle Matt, what're you doing?" Emily said as she and her brothers walked into the firehouse.
"Oh hey guys! Happy birthday!" Matt said, wiping grease from the truck off onto his shirt.
"Yeah, happy birthday kids!" Gabby said, hugging them all.
"Thanks. We didn't know you guys were on shift today." Cody said.
"Yeah, but what about your mom and dad?"
"Evidently they were on shift too." Landon said, a little bitter.
"Hey, it's okay! They can't control when people get killed, they have a job to fulfill. Besides, we can still go to the Sox game, just us three." Cody told his siblings, wanting to make them happy.
"Yeah, but alone? I don't think that's a great idea. Like you said, nobody controls when people get killed." Landon said, Gabby smacking him in the head.
"I'll go call Antonio, he has no life anyway." Gabby joked, pulling out her phone. "You guys can't go alone."
A few minutes later, Antonio was at the firehouse.
"You guys ready for a Sox game?" He asked, putting his arms around the boys' shoulders.
"I am!" Emily said, excited.
"Alright, let's do it!"
As the kids began walking away, Gabby grabbed Antonio's shirt collar and held him back.
"Don't let anything happen to them." Gabby warned. Antonio looked at her as if to say "what? you don't trust me?" before he followed the kids to the game.
And so the 4 went to the game. After the Sox won the game, it was 2:30 and they were hungry.
"You think we should go visit the unit? I haven't seen the ol' numbskulls in awhile." Antonio said as they walked away from the stadium.
"Yeah, let's do it! We should take them something to eat." Emily suggested, Landon nodding.
"Yep, let's do it."
"I just got gift cards today, so I can buy them food." Cody offered.
"Yeah, I got some cash today, so I'll pay for half." Landon said.
"Well, it seems you two got this covered, so I'll save my money." Emily joked, Landon

"Cody is something special." Antonio told Erin as they sat in the break room with Jay and Hank.
"Yeah, he's my favorite." Jay joked, Erin punching him in the arm. "Oh you know I'm kidding, Emily's my favorite."
"No I'm serious. He made sure that Landon and Emily were having a fun day and he wouldn't let them be upset about you two having to work." Antonio told them.
"Yeah, he's got a good heart. But do you think he had a good day? I've noticed that a lot of the time he puts everyone else first." Erin said, Jay nodding.
"Eh, I'm not too sure."
"I'll talk to him tonight." Jay said.

"Well, guys, did you like dinner?" Jay asked as they drove to the hotel. Erin and Jay had got done with the case at 5:30 and were able to take the kids and Hank out to dinner.
"Yeah, Olive Garden never disappoints!" Landon said from the back seat, patting his stomach.
"I still don't know how you ate all of that food. I barely have room after I down a few breadsticks." Emily told him, her leftovers sitting on her lap.
"I've trained myself to be able to eat as much as I want to, never getting full." Landon answered before farting loudly and stinking up the car.
"Why am I related to him?!" Cody groaned, sticking his face out the window.
"You love me and you know it." Landon told him, hugging his twin.
"Alright, we're back at the hotel. Emily and Landon, go back with Mom. Cody, you're coming with me to check on the house." Jay said, causing Cody to look at Jay confused.
"What?"
"You're coming, just you."
