adelaide: hello kit, how are you?
kit: i'm great thanks, and you?
adelaide: me too, right, let's get down to business.
kit: i'm all ears.
adelaide: recently your character has had to adjust to some major changes, were those challenging to act?
kit: yes, but the script writers for GoT definitely cut our work out for us, they always make it hard but the cast and i are always up for a challenge.
[adelaide laughs as she reads the next question from the sheet in her hands]
adelaide: you have to film a lot of nude scenes with adelaide kane, one of your cast members and who plays your love interest in the show, does this mean you guys are close?
[kit fidgets in his seat, a grin breaking out onto his face at the question]
kit: adelaide is definitely a charmer, so quite naturally we'd become close, especially when you have filmed as many nude scenes as we have.
adelaide: and, have you left the chemistry between you two to your characters or is there something more in real life?
[adelaide and kit stare intently at each other after she had read the question, both bursting into laughter immediately]
adelaide: goddammit who let maisie write the questions?
kit: i understand why people would want us together, obviously there is chemistry otherwise we wouldn't be together in the show, but no, we're just friends.
adelaide: is there anything you can tell us about GoT season 5?
kit: sorry, Jon Snow knows nothing.
-
kit: what was it like when you first found out that you got a part in GoT?
adelaide: i honestly didn't think i was going to get the part. i had already auditioned three times and my screen test with kit was the only thing i thought i had done well. also, i had just wrapped up the final season of Reign and by then everyone looked at me and thought 'oh, she's Mary Queen of Scots'.
fast forward two weeks and i had heard absolutely nothing from my agent, i thought the part must've gone to someone else, but then GoT's twitter suprised me by tweeting i was joining the cast.
kit: we're all glad that you did.
[kit clears his throat]
kit: ah, how do you find the cast, do you get on well with them?
adelaide: surprisingly yes. most of them are british and i'm australian so i thought there would be an ethnicity barrier because they'd have all their british inside jokes, but boy was i wrong. the cast is truly amazing, they're very supportive and all very good looking.
kit: speaking of the cast, kit harington seems to be popping up in a lot of your social media comments from, fellow cast member, maisie williams, is she hinting there is some behind the scenes chemistry the fans aren't aware of?
adelaide: maisie has always been a little joker, right from the moment i met her. she means nothing more than simple teasing from something that happened on my first filming day.
[kit dropped the question sheet in front of him, resting his chin on his clasped hands and his elbows on his knees]
kit: care to enlighten me?
[adelaide giggled, looking at the camera and then pushing kit's nearing face away]
adelaide: okay so as i said, it was the first day of filming, i had just been shown my trailer and had started putting some of my stuff around it, to make it homier. keep in mind that i had just spent a couple of hours shooting with maisie for my opening scene. maisie walked into my trailer and offered to help me with my things, we were just about finished when she dropped my polaroid photo album and a picture of me kissing your face on my GoT poster slipped from it. the teasing then spawned.
kit: so, what this interview has really told us is that adelaide has been in love with me since i became jon snow. thank you for having us vanity fair.
