I Have Problems

Welp... It's time for school again...

Plain old boring school.

I suppose I should give more details.

The first day of high school is beginning. Birds are chirping, flowers are blooming, and more then anything, a (H/C) haired girl would prefer to be lurking. In her room. Watching anime and anything else that sparked her interest.

And no. The alarm clock that sat on her nightstand, annoying beeping and all, did not wake her up.

She wanted to try to enjoy her last day of freedom before being sent to prison, aka school. So, in that relish of the last days of summer, she stayed up all night like any idiotic person/teenager would do. Playing video games and watching shows were just barely touching the tip of the iceburg for everything she had achieved in one night.

Aside from that, the alarm beside her meant she had to go to school. So, with a shaky hand, she reached out from under her blanket oasis, trying her best to reach the alarm clock.

Underneath her blankets where she sat, was a still on laptop, anime was currently playing. But, she didn't dare turn her laptop off. No, it was just about over, and she wanted to finish it.

The white headphones in her head slowly fell off, but she was quick to catch them, adjusting them till she saw fit. The bags under her eyes were quite noticeable, but she couldn't care at that moment, as soon as her fingers had turned that alarm clock off, she was immersed back into the anime world, going as far as to sneakily say desu in her head for no reason whatsoever.

Now, with every descision, there are consequences, not every descision leads to bad consequences and not every descision leads to good consequences.

Now, one might find it a bad consequence when your late for school, but no. This was a true victory in her eyes! With how much she'd accomplished, she never felt prouder.

Of course, that happiness died off when her bedroom door slammed open.

"(Y/N)!! You are going to be late for school, what in the name of everything holy are you doing up here!!"

Ah yes. Like most people, dear (Y/N) here has a mother. They both had the same eye color, similar face structure to match, but that's to be expected from those who are related.

The only response to her mother's bantering, was a muffled whine, that akin to a dog's sorrowful begging.

Her mother, face softening considerably, strode over to (Y/N)'s bed. She sat down there, softly prying off the covers of her daughter.

(Y/N) had only tiredly glared at her mother, bags just as noticeable as they always were.

"Honey," her mother started, bringing her hand down to brush a strand of air off her daughter's cheek, "You know you need to go, right...?"

(Y/N) turned her head away from her mother's gentle touch, a small blush accommodating her cheeks. Just like most other people, her mother's kind tone embarrassed her, even when no one else was around.

Her mother looked in thought for a second, looking away from her tired daughter's eyes. Looking back, she opened her mouth to speak, gentle voice soothing, "I'll see what I can do."

With that, she walked out of the room, the door giving a small click as she closed it.

A grin grew on (Y/N)'s face

She loved her mother.

No really, she loved her mother for how lenient she was.

(Y/N) decided she should get up, for sleeping during the day would only mess up her schedule even more.

So, with shaky arms, she pushed her upper body off of the blankets. Only to fall down again. Internally she whined, but chose to roll out of bed than use her muscles, and in rolling out of bed, a loud thump resounded against the upstairs floor.

And so, she got up. Grabbing her laptop, starting the day off for a good start. Only to sit right back down again with the next anime episode on. Yeah.

The perfect way to start the day.

The rest of the day continued like that, ending miserably with her falling asleep on a chair, face smashed into her laptop's keyboard.
