I didn't draw dis pic-
________________To say you weren't sweating was a complete and utter lie. After calling names to see if everyone was there, the gym teacher immidiately shoved everyone into a track.
Sweat dripped all along your eyes and face, running through your clothes and making you feel downright pathetic. Soggy, tired, and in the need of a couple gallons of water were rather accurate ways of describing yourself. Similarly, some other people besides you were like that, but you were a minority. Most barely broke sweat.
Like Endre for instance. Completing almost everything with relative ease. The only people really struggling were you, Wolf, some fluff ball of a girl who looked rather shy, and this short looking guy who kept hissing about his sore legs. Other then that, the rest of the students in gym class seemed like athletes.
Lucky you.
Another shrill whistle from the gym teacher, which you had learned was named Godfrey, and he was running along side you and the rest of the class, yelling and instructing to run faster- and put everything you've got into it.
Classic intructor.
Panting as you ran, you kept trying to keep up with everyone. Wolf wasn't on your track, so he wouldn't be there to best friend run with. He was running with the guys on a separate track next to yours.
Finally, the gym teacher blew his whistle again and called everyone to stop running and instead start walking.
You did so gladly, walking in the gap that was created by all of those fast students. The only person you were in front of was that fluff ball of a girl- extremely poofy and light pink dyed hair getting even more frazzled by the running.
Despite the dyed hair, she looked rather studious- glasses and a shy demeanour adding onto that factor.
You didn't approach her though, keeping to yourself, and continuing to walk tiredly after the heels of everyone else.
After a few laps of walking, and finally cooling down some what, the gym teacher blew his whistle again.
"Okay- warmups are now over- so let's start the real exercising!"
You mentally started screaming- That was a warmup!?
Sighing, you fell in line with everyone else as they lined up.
"Everyone drop and give me twenty!!"
You froze internally- you could barely do one. How were you supposed to do twenty.
Despite him saying that, no one actually moved to get on the floor. They all stood around in a line and watched him blankly.
You questioned this, but stood just as still as the others to not look out of place.
Finally, he waved his arm, grinning playfully, "Haha- just kidding- you guys know me well."
A few students let out a chuff.
"Instead, we're going to start a little bit of volley ball."
"Girls, guys, you know which net is yours, so get to it and pick your teams. "
The girls and guys separated again, each heading to their own separate nets.
Wolf passed by you and held out his hand for a high five, which you gladly slapped.
He grinned, and continued walking to the boys net.
You were glad he was your friend, mainly because everyone else was already doing their own things with their own friends.
You couldn't help the smile that rose to your face at that fact. You liked having friends. They were nice.
Ruffling your hair with your hand, you took a deep breath.
Let's do this volley ball thing.
