Cute pic I found on the internet
________
It took a good few seconds for you to process the caller ID.
A good few more before you answered.
You lifted the phone to your ear, confused as to who in there right minds would call so late at night, but half wondering if you were sane for being up that late in the first place.
The first words to greet your ears was a stark, chipper, and self satisfied, "Sup noob."
You frowned, still very much confused, and tiredness making you irritated, "The fuck- why are you up so late Creed."
You heard him guffaw over the phone, immediately retorting with, "Speak for yourself."
A few chuckles continued from his end of the line, yours dead with silence as you waited for him to get to the point.
He didn't though. The line went silent, and with an ill fitted scoff, you asked, "Why'd you call me you nerd."
"Oof- pulling out the big guns aren't ya?" Creed countered, again, before finally reaching his point, "If your so desperate to know, I was wondering if you wanted to hang?"
You blinked several time at his inquiry, reaching a hand up to rub your face, "Isn't it illegal to be out at night when your under eighteen?"
"Psh- legal smegal-" You could hear his grin through the phone, "We're just going to dip on over the park, be hoodlums, and slip right back."
You groaned at his answer, going silent as you thought over his request.
"If I said please, would that make you come with me?" His cheeky bastard tone of voice didnt help you decide.
On one hand, you could go be a teenager, but on the other, what if people found out? What if you got arrested? Or what if Creed was going to force you into stuff you didnt want to do?
But... you could go be a teenager...?
Sighing out the longest sigh you've ever sighed, you responded with a small, "Okay..."
Creed chirped out a happy noise, before speaking, "Good, cause we're waiting outside." He ended the phone call before you could ask who was with him- or how he knew were you lived.
Sitting up straight with the sudden change of pace, you shot out of bed, rushing to fix your hair, and rushing to just make yourself look presentable in general.
With a few hops over to the window, you peered out to see that indeed, Creed was standing outside, his green hair the only thing that told you it was him. A lone figure stood next to him with a hood pulled over their head making it difficult to gauge who they were.
You felt worried at that, but with a shake of your head, you tiptoed downstairs and out of your house.
The night air contrasted the warmth of your house. Much colder then you thought it'd be, and much damper on account of the earlier raining.
You approached the two figures cautiously, getting closer and closer until you could finally manage to make out who was beside Creed.
It was Wolf- and thank god it was a friendly face-
Your fist jutted out just as Wolf's did- hands connecting in a bro punch faster then Creed could comprehend what was happening.
The both of you were tired from the looks of it- neither of you having the heart to start cheerfully ranting to each other.
