To Whom It May Concern: A Love Letter

To whom it may concern:

This letter may be the one thing

That takes away my right to be a poet

If only for the reason that it doesn't rhyme.

But that's called free verse so get over it.

I love you.

You would think that when addressing the one I love,

I would at least address it to the one I love.

However, as you can see, that is not the case.

Because I'm different.

But by whom it may concern, I mean you. Yes, you. The one reading this.

Because honestly, it's true. You make someone's day better

Just by being here on this planet. So thanks.

This is a bit of a pep talk, but also a bit of me typing some words

Because I'm tired. However, tired people often say profound things.

For example: Oh my goodness, that wasp is still in my room.

What do I do?

But then I remember. It doesn't matter because I have you to love.

It's flying towards me. But I don't care. If I die tonight because of this wasp,

At least I will have already confessed my love to whom it may concern.

Sorry that it wasn't very poetic.

In fact I never actually said anything, sooo bye.
