The next two weeks were a blur. I was too excited for the concert to focus on much else.

Finally, the day we had been waiting so anxiously for was here!

Caylee and I spent the night before figuring out what we wanted to wear while listening to all of the bands that would be playing the next day. Everyone was good, but Avenged Sevenfold was, by far, the best.

I decided to wear a black tank top and ripped black jeans. This was one of the times that I cursed myself for not having at least one band shirt. I would definitely get one at this concert, no matter what.

Cay was going to wear a hot fluorescent pink v- neck shirt to “ catch the guys eyes”. She looked like she should be going to a rave, not Uproar.

That night, we slept at my house. We spent most of the night studying the songs we would hear the next day. By 11:00, we knew the words so well, that we could sing them word for word. We got tired enough and crawled into my bed and my dog, Molly snuggled between us.

We slept in until 11:00 the following day, to make sure that we had enough sleep for the long day ahead. After all, Uproar was an all day event!

We got up and got ourselves al prettied up. I put on my outfit and went into the bathroom where Cay was to do my hair and makeup.

“Day-um girl!” Caylee smiled as I walked into the room. “If that doesn’t get you laid, I don’t know what will!”

I winked at her and struck a pose before laughing and walking to full-length mirror. I did look pretty good and it felt nice. I haven’t felt this good about myself in a long time.

“Well you look pretty hot yourself!” I looked back at her.

“Oh, you don’t have to tell me. I already know!” She gave me a cocky grin.

That was one of the reasons that I loved being best friends with Caylee. She was always blunt. She was confident in herself, but also made others feel good about themselves.

Finally, it was time to leave and we headed to the stadium.

When we got there, it was a complete mad house.

The line to get in was so long, I thought we never would.

When we did, Caylee and I walked around to the different tents, just waiting for the concert to start.

There were some small bands playing while we waited, but we didn’t pay much attention to them.

At last, the concert was starting.

I ran to the mosh pit with Cay on my heels. We had to get the best spot!

I got to the barrier on the left (my right) side of the stage.

Caylee high-fived me for getting such a good spot.

Escape the Fate came out first, and instantly, everyone started head banging and rocking out.

Then came Bullet for my Valentine.

As it got darker, the crowd got more pumped up.

Then Seether.

Three Days Grace was next. They were amazing, as always.

The time came. What everyone was waiting for. Three Days Grace went off stage.

The stage went black. Everyone screamed.

The intro to “Afterlife” started.

The guys all walked out one by one. Flames went up behind them to the beat of the song.

They all went to their spots.

The stage began to light up, and the crowd went insane.

Caylee was screaming at the top of her lungs and so was I.

We sang along to the song, still screaming and freaking out.

I kept stealing glances at the guitarist close to us.

He was gorgeous, to say the least. His black hair was sticking out in all directions. It was so sexy.

While he played, his muscular arms would flex.

He was so hot! I couldn’t look away. I was mesmerized.

Then he looked my way….

                                                Syn’s POV

Three Days Grace was just finishing up their last song. They were a really good band, and really nice guys. I was glad we went tour with them.

All the bands were good and really cool guys.

Matt called all of us over to pump us up. He always did this before a show. It was tradition.

“Alright guys, let’s play an awesome show for our fans!”

We all yelled and high fived each other. We did a big group hug.

Three Days Grace came back stage and we high fived them, telling them good job.

Then the stage went black.

The fans went crazy.

That was our queue.

We got everything ready and started to play “Afterlife”, walking on stage.

Jimmy went to his drums.

Matt went to the mic.

Johnny went to Matt’s left.

Zacky went to the right side of the stage.

I went to the left.

The fans were absolutely insane. God I love my job!

I continued playing as I looked out at the crowd.

As the stage got lighter, I could see them easier.

Man, there were always some pretty interesting people at our concerts.

I noticed a girl in a God awful bright pink shirt in the front of the pit.

“Wow.” I thought, laughing to myself.

Then I looked at the girl next to her.

She was beautiful…

She had gorgeous long brown hair, a very form-fitting black tank top on.

She was singing along with Matt , word for word.

I couldn’t tear my eyes away from her.

She caught me looking at her. Her eyes went wide and I smiled at her.

She blushed and shyly smiled back. Then looked away and continued singing and dancing.

I knew for a fact, that I had to meet her…
