Assuming that Phil had never attempted something of this level of insanity would be an underestimation. Last night, he had been comfortably sitting on his bed, browsing tumblr, eating cookies and listening to music. Ideal, compared to his current situation. He shuddered, the night air seeping through his coat. Picking locks wasn't exactly his speciality, and he would certainly rather be doing it through a simulator than in real life. He felt deceived, shivering in the cold, tricked into going outside. Dan stood behind him, keeping watch, also shivering.

"Hurry up, will you, I can't stand out here for much longer!" Dan also wasn't used to this sort of thing, and had a vague feeling of guilt for the whole, well, breaking-in thing. It was certainly taking longer than in the movies. Phil crouched next to the lock, staring at it, until a faint 'Click' struck. The door that the lock belonged to yielded, swinging open, and luckily, Phil was able to catch it just before it crashed into the wall.

"Finally." said Dan, rolling his eyes.

"Sshh!" Whispered Phil, aware that night time was a time to be quiet, even if there was no one around to hear. Dan lifted a walkie-talkie to his mouth and pressed the button, speaking into it.

Krsschhh "Penam, its open, over." Krsschhh

They waited a few seconds for the reply.

Krsschhh "Great, target signal obtained, over." Krsschhh. Anya's voice could be heard from the other end of the line.

"This whole thing still feels odd to me. I've never broken into anything in real life before." Phil shuddered again, though this time not from the cold.

"Aww c'mon Phil, this is actually quite exciting if you think about it. We're just like spies!" Dan grinned.

"And you're really OK with this, not in the least bit scared?" Phil found that an even crazier notion.

"No, of course not, I'm bloody terrified! What happens if we get caught?!" Dan whispered aggressively.

"I know, I'm scared too, but it has to be done, right?" He looked at Dan, who sighed and nodded reluctantly.

"I guess." He looked through the binoculars he was holding, pointing them at the field which lay between them and the Lovell Telescope. He could just about make out the figure, running, which was Anya.

"Here, look at this." He passed the binoculars to Phil, laughing. Phil looked through them, finding Anya in the distance. Face full of determination, running at full speed, which, from this far away, didn't seem very fast.

She reached them a few minutes later, when they had just about finished laughing.

"Did you... What are you laughing about?" They held their laughter in, swallowing their grins. Anya glared at the pair, very much aware of why they were laughing. "Did you open the door?"

Phil pointed at the door, which was wide open.

"Nice one. Come on, then." She beckoned, and they followed.

Stepping as quietly as she could, Anya walked with her back to the wall, scanning the room for cameras, until they reached a code protected door. She held her communicator up to the keypad, which made a buzzing sound as it tried the combination.

DING! It sounded.

"Why did you make it ding?" Whispered Phil

"Why not?" Dan replied.

"Exactly" added Anya.

She opened the door, tentatively, and walked through, again scanning the corridor for cameras.
