"Mom what's wrong?" I hugged her. "I'm so sorry honey." She pulled away. "Why? Who died?" I got worried. "No one died," My dad put his arm around my mom, "We're moving back to California." "No, no, no! I'm not leaving you can't make me!" I quickly ran to my room and locked the door.

'Beep! Beep!' My alarm clock buzzed. I sat up in my bed, remembering what had happened last night. I groaned and rolled off my bed onto the floor. I heard my door handle jiggling then my door swung open. "Spencer, you don't have to go to school if you don't want to." I heard my mom say. "When are we going back?" I sat up. "Next week." She looked down. "I guess that my laziness worked in my favor. I don't need to pack a lot now." I smiled slightly. "So are you going to school?" Mom helped me up. I nodded, "This is the last week I have with everyone." "And Sam." I rubbed my temples, "How am I gonna tell him? How am I gonna leave him?" Mom put her hand on my shoulder, "Are you going to date long distance?" "I don't wanna think about it." I groaned. "At least we'll be here for Christmas." Mom reminded me. "Yeah I guess. Now I need to get to school."

I slowly walked to the choir room. I looked in the tiny window and saw everyone talking and laughing. Damnit, I don't wanna leave them. I opened the door and walked in. It got silent and everyone looked at me. "Spencer, are you ok?" Mr. Schue asked. I shook my head and felt a tear roll down my face, "No, no I'm not." "What happened?" Sam ran over to me. He wiped the tear off my cheek. I sighed, "We're moving back to California the day after Christmas." "What?" Sam's face went blank. I nodded. Finn stood up, "This is a joke right?" "I wish it was. Now I don't want any tears, I want to spend my last week with you guys like I'll be here the rest of the year. Ok?" I looked at Sam. He nodded but was frowning.

-Christmas Eve-
"Ok, I'm having a Christmas party tonight. You have to come!" Kurt explained. "Sure, my family isn't doing anything for Christmas." I agreed. "Then I'm coming too." Sam put his arm around me. I smiled at him. "Good, then the whole Glee Club's coming." Kurt walked away. "I have to get to class but I'll see you after school." Sam kissed my cheek. "I have to go to my locker anyway." I said then walked to my locker.

"So you're actually moving?" Finn closed his locker. "Yeah, I really don't want to. But I can't do anything to change it." I shrugged. "I'm gonna miss you Spence. Our friendship lasted almost two years." Finn said. "It'll last while I'm gone. We have to keep in touch. Walk me to class?" I closed my locker. Finn motioned for me to go. "Ok, we'll keep in touch. I know someone else who you need to keep in touch with." Finn followed me. "Sam?" I asked. Finn nodded. "I know Finn. I just don't know if he wants to." I sighed. Finn grabbed my arm, "You two are dating. Of course he wants to stay in touch." I nodded, "You're right. Now I don't wanna be late so see you tonight." I gave him a small hug then ran to class.
