"I can't believe you did that!" Rachel pulled me out to the parking lot. "Ok, you would do that too!" I said. She nodded slightly, "You are right... But I'm still taking you away so you're nowhere near her." I rolled my eyes and sat on the curb, "You're so difficult Rachel." "You're the one who slapped Sawyer... Why did you?" Rachel sat next to me. I shrugged, "I just don't like people talking to my boyfriend that way." "Jealous much?" I heard Sawyer's voice. I stood up and jumped at her. I felt arms grab me before I reached her, "Let me take you home." Sam said and walked me out to his truck.

We just started driving away when my phone buzzed. My mom was texting me.

Mom: Your father and I are going out of town this week for work, no parties!

Spencer: No promises;)

Mom: See you Sunday!

"This rain's coming down hard." Sam said. I just realized it's raining. "I hope it snows!" I said excitedly. Sam laughed, "If it does, though, it'll be icy. Which is dangerous." I nodded and saw snow begin to fall.

-Sam's POV-
I pulled up Spencer's driveway. "I know you probably wanna go home, but the road doesn't look that safe." Spencer looked out the window. Snow was still falling and the roads were icy. "You're right, I'm gonna text my mom." I pulled out my phone. "Come inside first." Spencer opened the door and hopped out, she almost slipped and fell. I laughed and followed her to the front door.

Sam: Mom, is it ok if I stay at Spencer's tonight. I don't wanna drive home on the roads. Their really icy.

Mary: Yes, and thanks for asking. And please don't go anywhere until the roads are safe. Love you.

Sam: Love you too mom.

Mary: See you soon.

Sam: Be safe driving back from work!

I sighed and sat on the couch. "Hey, you ok?" Spencer walked over holding a blanket. "Yeah, I just hope my parents make it home safely from work." I wrapped my arms around myself and shivered. Spencer sat next to me and threw the blanket over us, "They'll be fine, ok?" I nodded and smiled at her. "What?" Spencer laughed. "You're so cute." I laughed and began tickling her. "No... Don't.... I... Can't...." Spencer laughed uncontrollably. "Stop!" She managed to say. I laughed and stopped. She turned and flicked me in the head. "Ow!" I touched my forehead. "That's what you get!" Spencer giggled and laid her head on my chest. We stayed like that until there was a loud clap of thunder. Spencer jumped, "Shit!" She buried her face in a pillow. I put my arm on her back, "You ok?" She shook her head then sat up, "When there's thunder there's lightning. And my cousin got struck by lightning and died a couple years ago." Spencer shoved her face back in the pillow. "I'm sorry Spence." I rubbed her back then looked out the window. It wasn't snowing anymore, it was just pouring rain. "Are you scared of thunder?" Spencer looked at me. "No, but I understand why you are. Someone close to you was killed by it. If that happened to me I would be scared of it too." I smiled slightly. "I feel stupid." She hung her head. "Don't." I grabbed her chin and kissed her.

We watched movies until the power went out around midnight. By then Spencer had fallen asleep with her head on my chest. I smiled at the thought that this could end up in my future. Being with her every night. I quickly fell asleep thinking about what it would be like.
