I sat there in the sheriffs office she studied my face then forced a smile and said

"you can go now Mr green"

I walked down the street to the dinner I sat there making notes on my notepad I took out the page's I found in the woods the first one said "Departure by John green" I can't remember that I wrote this when did I write this is the true question

"There you go Mr green"

"Thank you rose I said with a smile" as she put my food and coffee on the table

"Can I just say I am your biggest fan I read all your books and in the corner over there I put up a poster of you "

Great another fan just what I needed now fans around me so much for going to a place where nobody knows me

John and cloe had to go on vacation so that John can get rid of his writters block and he sovoired from anger as well after calling John and cloe for a whole week without any answer berry got worried maybe they are having a second honeymoon but berry knows john to good he got real worried and jumped on the first plane to bright falls to go searching for John and cloe

BERRY

I arrived in bright falls and went to the local dinner to have something refreshing and find out if anybody had seen John and cloe

I sow a buaty hair blond blue eyes and had a read apron on and a name tag that said "HI my name is Rose"

"Good day stranger what will you be having" she said with a bright smile and cheecks light red pinkish

"Hi rose......amm what would you say must I eat? "

"Well I would say our meat lovers special with a strong cup of coffee looks like you'll need it"

"Then I'll be having that thank you"

I sat there staring out the window...hell this is a scary town why did John chose this place out of all the small peaceful towns he went and chose the scariest place of all

"Here's your order sir"

"Thank you rose where may I find John green I know he is on vacation here somewhere "

"Amm don't know last I heard of him was about a week ago and he was searching for his wife he looked pretty shaken up maybe the sheriff could tell you more"

"Thank you appreciate it"

Now my suspicion got even higher it isn't just like him to dissappear and where would cloe be what happened to them?

I went back to my truck got in and followed directions that rose gave me to the sheriff's office

I entered the office and said I want to find out about John green the Secretary of the sherrifs eyes widened and she pointed me to the sherrifs office there was definitely something going on

"Goodday sheriff I am Barry a good and personal friend of John green what is going on where is he and his wife"

"Well sir honestly I don't know i found him in the woods all beaten up and he said he and his wife is living in the cabin near calarodo lake but the problem is there is no island or house any more on calorado lake it all was swept away in the late 70's "

Okay now this brings more questions up then answers

"He also said he got the keys to the house at old man sticky but he passed away 10 years ago"

Something is really wrong here something is up John wasn't crazy what was going on? Where is John ???

I walked outside the sheriff's office and sit on the bench I sat there staring at my phone waiting for a call from John or even cloe I sat there for an whole hour just staring at my phone

I got in my truck and decided to go searching for him and I wouldn't stop until I found him and cloe as I drove up the mountain pass I could feel it's getting colder each breath I take is colder then the previous one it started to snow heavily I reached a tunnel that goes through the mounting

Here was the car John hired it looks the same as the photo that he send me it was all smashed up

I pulled over got out to look if John was maybe sleeping in it but he wasn't only a map was in the car it was beaten up pretty bad looks like he hit a deer or something but no sign of him or cloe

(Hi guys this part about John is a very personal thing wrote from the Hart....it's about my situation at the moment and I just wrote what I felt so hope you are enjoying it so far comment and vote love you all thanks for the support)

JOHN

Alone in the woods I sit in the cold a lone I hear the howl of a wolf in the background I bumped my head pretty badly blood dripping down my face onto the snow it looks like a cherry Red slushy my face and hands covered in blood I look up to the woods in front of me I sit there in silence I have a head wound but the most painful wound is the one in my heart not knowing if I'll ever see my one true love ever again

My mind wonders off to the day I asked cloe to marry me it was in Milan on a cliff it was far into winter but on this cliff was the grass green and right in the middle of it was a huge tree with bright pink flowers and some was scattered on the ground

I snapped out of my day dream when my phone ran I answered it it was cloe's doctor he said "hello cloe the tests came back positive your pregnant" everything was frozen even my voice I opened my mouth but nothing came out even my head wound stopped bleeding it froze as well my hands was blue from the cold I didn't have the strength to go on i closed my eyes and praid for GOD to watch over cloe and our child and I blew out my last breath......

John John I heard my name but it was very far I am here buddy the sheriff's on her way just hold on

And just as I passed out I heard the sirens of the sheriff's car and the ambulance

Next thing I know I wake up hearing the doctor say to the sheriff and to Barry " he has a slight concussion he took a great blow to the head" I opened my eye's slightly then all the way

"Cloe cloe" all I wanted was her I got up and then demand to get signed out of the hospital

"Relax bud the sheriff is working on finding her they'll find her promise you need to relax and get some rest for now"

I laid back down and as soon as my head hit the pillow I fell asleep I guess I needed the rest my body was tired I could feel it

I slept for 2days straight the doctor woke me up and said "Mr green you can go home now just take it easy next to me Barry was fast asleep on the couch I got all my stuff together packed and woke berry up and said we can go now
