(Your point of view)

"Ughhhhh, why did we have to walk to the themepark?" I complained. "Because you need to exercise more," Ichigo replied. "You saying I'm fat?" I hissed. "No, I'm saying a stay at home job doesn't give you a lot of exercise." He responded. "Your quite skinny, actually." I began to laugh. "Coming from you? I don't get how you do it. I don't know anyone more muscular than you but your so skinny," I laughed. I started to turn red. "I didn't mean it like that. I, uh, that was... awkward. Sorry." Ichigo shook his head. "No, it's fine. I know what you meant," he responded. "I know it's odd. Happened when I became a substitute." Oh... that mess. I guess it's normal for his group of friends to mention it so nonchalantly.

"Here's Kazui's school. He'll be happy. He always asks when you'll be over next." Aw. "Awww, that's so cute. I can't wait to see him," I told him. Kazui is the cutest kid ever. "Hey, Kazui, over here." Ichigo called. The little kid came running over to us. "Yay! (Y/n) is here again!" Kazui celebrated. "It's good to see you again, Kazui." I greeted. He gave his dad a hug and then gave me a hug. "She's staying for dinner. Thought you might like that," Ichigo mentioned. "Really? Thank you so much daddy!" He thanked. Kazui held his dad's hand as we started walking back to the Kurosaki clinic house thing.

"I'll go make dinner," Ichigo stated and wondered off to the kitchen. "Want any help?" I asked. It isn't completely fair I'm the guest and he's doing all this work. "No, it's alright. You're a guest," he replied and turned on the other. Kazui tugged on my shirt sleeve. There's nothing that could make this kid cuter. "Will you help me with my homework? I need to go out after dinner," Kazui murmured. Go out? Go out where? Is Ichigo aware of this? Expecting to find the answers to my questions, I nodded and took a seat next to Kazui. He searched his bag for a moment and found his maths homework.

Woe is me. Maths. Such an important, yet undesirable subject. Most people only need to learn the basics, yet we are taught the most advanced maths we don't need to know. "I'm not good at division," the boy said. "Don't worry - I wasn't either," I responded and gave him a smile. "Do you like cookies?" He nodded. I picked up a pen and began to write on a piece of scrap paper. "So, for question one, it's 12 ÷ 3. So you have 12 cookies and you're sharing them between you and your two friends. Why? Because your nice. You have to put your 12 cookies into 3 equal piles so everyone gets an equal amount," I explained. Kazui nodded his head. "So... 4?" He inquired. "Yep. 4 cookies each. Think you can try them?" I answered. "Yes, thank you (y/n)." He thanked.

Shortly after Kazui finished his homework, Ichigo came in with dinner. "It smells delicious!" I complimented. My diet consisted of instant noodles, cereal and occasionally chicken or pizza. I don't eat otherwise. "Roast pork, hope you enjoy." Ichigo announced as he took a seat. Real food. REAL FOOD! I AM HAVING A PARTY OVER HERE! I took a bite out of the pork. The flavours of the herbs and spices danced on my tongue and the texture was phenomenal. "Ichigo this is amazing! Genuinely the best thing I have ever eaten in my life!" I cheered. I was as giddy as a school girl. It's amazing. So good. I can not handle how good this is. I feel like royalty.

After a few minutes of silence, Kazui spoke up and asked, "Daddy, why didn't you tell me about mummy?" He knows? How does he know? I didn't tell him and Ichigo clearly did. What. The. Hell. I turned towards Ichigo, looking for answers, as was Kazui. The man was clearly thinking about the best way to phrase it. "Kazui... sometimes an adult think it's best to keep things away from kids. Such as sad things and bad things. The parent will eventually tell the child, but when the time is right." He explained. "But it wasn't right yet." He doesn't seem the least bit interested in how Kazui found out. Does he know already? Does he think it was me?

"I guess so daddy," Kazui mumbled. More importantly... HE AGREES? "I just wanted you to say before I saw mummy." BEFORE HE SAW MUMMY? IS HE GOING TO DIE? ICHIGO DO SOMETHING YOU IDIOT! "I know and I'm sorry, Kazui. It was quite hard dealing with it," Ichigo apologised. "You finished dinner? If you are, you can go." Kazui and I nodded. The man picked up our plates and disappeared into the kitchen. Kazui got up and left the house. Being quite alone, I decided to join Ichigo in the kitchen. He has a lot of explaining to do. A lot a lot. And where is Kazui going? Who knows! Well, Ichigo. Hopefully. He's a good dad. I think.
