"Jungkook-ssi."

the younger didn't hear him the first time.

"jinja.. jungkookie!"

the other's eyes darted towards him once hearing the slight shout over his music, quick to take off an earphone.

"y-yes, yoongi-hyung?"

"yah.. give me your hyung's number."

jungkook stared at him for a long while, silence taking over the space between them. yoongi hadn't realized the breath he was holding till jungkook slammed a 'next register please' sign right in front of him, knocking whatever air he held out.

"i can't do it. he won't let me in."

"you're not even trying, that's why."

"i asked jungkook and jimin already but they refuse. i don't know any of his other friends!" yoongi sighed into his arm that was draped over his face. it's been a day since he last asked jin's friends if they can give him his number but to only get rejected by them too.

"maybe he's playing hard to get?" namjoon suggested before munching messily on some chips that were in a bowl on his lap. yoongi eyed him slightly before shaking his head.

"he doesn't seem the type."

"remember when i said that good boys are bad boys that haven't b-" namjoon couldn't continue due to the painful jab he received to his side by yoongi's powerful foot.

"don't, please."
