Why is the stone glowing red?

My heart is beating too loud in my chest, it felt like it was going to explode any minute.

If this man is Jungkook what should I do? I haven't even thought about this through, it was only yesterday I made this decision!

The man stared at me and blinked a few times. "I'm sorry for asking too bluntly, Sir." I quickly retrieved my sudden question. With sweaty palms, I reached out of my right pocket and played with the glowing stone.

"No no it's okay. But I'm sorry. I'm not the man you're looking for." The man smiled apologetically. I signed, I guess it's a false alarm...

"I'm sorry." That was all I could say. I only got my hopes up. "It's okay. Anyway, what's your name?" He asked me.

There's something about this man. I just feel like smiling around him. He has this kind of aura that makes people around him smile. In fact, he is always smiling. Plus his eyes...

"My name's Seulgi. You?" Letting go of the stone, I embraced the book to my chest. "I-"

"SEULGI!" Taehyung suddenly called out for me, signaling that I should go to him. "I'm sorry Sir but I have to go. I hope we can meet some other time." I waved off and went to Tae.

When I was already close to Taehyung, he suddenly stopped for at least two minutes straight. "Heyy!! Are you pulling a prank on me?" He didn't even blinked!

"Don't talk to strangers. I don't like that." Taehyung said with a tone. What the... It's like nothing happened.

I ignored it. "Are you jealous?" I had an idea teasing his cute attitude. "Don't talk to me. I don't know you." He said while turning his back on me.

I back-hugged him and said, "Taetae~". I tried swaying his huge figure, since I was only up to his shoulder level. I felt his arms hardened and then I realized what I'm doing. And I let him go.

"L-let's go." He said, held my hand and walked towards the counter.

"Excuse me Miss, can we borrow this book?" Taehyung asked the librarian. "Why yes my dear. Just fill up this form and remember to return it before 10 days." The librarian looks really nice, she wasn't that old to be a librarian. But she has some fine lines in the corner of her lips and eyes, saying that she has a happy life.

I filled up the form and all the information needed and handed it back to the librarian. She stamped the form and checked the book for any damages before handing it to me. "Miss take good care of this book. This is written by the famous and respected author Mister Kim Namjoon."

It seems that she is a fan of this great author. "Don't worry Miss. I will return it as exactly it is right now." I smiled.

"Let's go home so that you can start reading the book." Tae suggested and I nodded. Before we head out of the library, I took one last look to the man and made sure to remember him.

We got in the car and Taehyung drove back home. As usual we were both silent, I glanced at him. He wasn't smiling at all but instead had a frown on his face. I'm guessing he was still mad about the stranger I talked to in the library.

"Tae, I'm sorry about earlier." I sheepishly looked at my hands because I'm too afraid he'll ignore me. "It's okay. I'm just. I can't explain why I acted that way. You make me feel crazy sometimes."
