Bad at Love

I like Bad at Love mostly because it describes my love life too.

Before I start this whole song is about Halsey and her hook up or people she dated.

"Got a boy back home in Michigan

And it tastes like Jack when I'm kissing him

So I told him that I never really liked his friends

Now he's gone and he's calling me a bitch again"

This "hook up" is Solis Halsey confirmed on twitter that Solis lives in Michigan, so Luna starts off singing about Solis but then moves on to others,

"There's a guy that lives in a garden state

And he told me that we'd make it 'til we graduate

So I told him that the music would be worth the wait

But he wants me in the kitchen with a dinner plate"

I think this verse references someone from the past before Solis,  because Halsey grew up in and around New Jersey she dated people around there.

He probably didn't like Halseys music, and wanted her to be a stay at home mom and cook and clean and never work, but she kept going.

Look, I don't mean to frustrate,

But I always make the same mistakes, yeah"

Luna gets attached to everyone she has previously dated, she thinks that there gonna last forever even though she knows deep down there not.

"I'm bad at love,

You know I'd be lyin' sayin'

You were the one, ooh-ooh

That could finally fix me

Lookin' at my history

I'm bad at love"

Luna tells the same lies over and over again but they stay because they want it to be real.

"Got a girl with California eyes

And I thought that she could really be the one this time

But I never got the chance to make her mine

Because she fell in love with little thin white lines"

Luna thinks she found the one she would be with forever, but they got addicted to drugs.

"London girl with an attitude

We never told no one but we look so cute

Both got way better things to do

But I always think about it when I'm riding through"

Luna had a fast hook up that really could have worked if they weren't so busy.

"I know that you're afraid

I'm gonna walk away

Each time the feeling fades"

Luna keeps making the same mistake and her past always comes back to haunt her.
