Chapter 7

I told y'all I'll be back in June. So let's get straight into this chapter.

It's been a month since Nathaniel left my home. I'm so happy he finally left me alone but also very happy that he brought Cole along that day. From that day on Cole and I have been talking and he's super nice he's funny and anytime I'm down he knows exactly what to say. Let me just say that Nathaniel is totally against our friendship, but who cares what Hippo has to say. Anytime I was on the phone with Cole and Nathaniel walks in and throws a fit I would tell Cole to say go take a mud bath hippo and that will always cause him to flip a table it's pretty ironic to me.

Jonathan hasn't been around much either. Everytime I call him for Makiea to talk to him it's​either going to voicemail or he screams at me and tells me that he's busy. It's really starting to piss me off like I thought she was "Our" daughter it seems to me like it's only one parent Makiea has which is me.

It wasn't easy for me to tell Makiea everyday that her daddy's busy. So today I decided to take Makiea to his house don't worry I told Kurwin to get those disgusting dumbasses out of the house my baby won't ever have to see what kind of father she has until she's old enough to know. So when I barged into his room with Makiea in my hand and her daddy in his bed with some ugly skanky bitch I blocked her face with one of my hands and picked up the lamp he had on the dresser next to the door and threw it at them hitting the skank right on the head I said hurry it up you good for nothing piece of shit your daughter is here to see you ohhh and don't forget to get a shower don't want any of that slut to be near my daughter. I slammed the door and went down stairs waiting for him to be done with the bitch.

Ten minutes after the skinny stick came downstairs​ with a heated glare in my direction.

"If you don't stop looking at me in the next two seconds you would regret it." I said calmly while I watch Makiea play with her toys. The little bitch started to curse me and threatened me. So you know this caused me to flip out. I picked Makiea up and handed her to one of the maids and told her to go get her something to eat. As Makiea left the room I was on this bitch faster than you can say go.

"Ahhhh let me go you bitch," screamed the slut.

"Don't ever disrespect me like that in front of my daughter ever again you dumb cheap baboon looking bitch!" I told her as I hit her punch after punch. As I go to punch the bitch in the nose Jonathan grabbed me off of her.

"Let me go idiot I'm not done!" I screamed at him. The girl grabbed her bag off the ground and ran straight out the house tripping on the porch steps as she went by.

"What's wrong with you?" Jonathan asked

"What's wrong with me? What's wrong with you for the past month you haven't seen Makiea for one minute always saying you're busy when all you've been doing is sleeping around with dumb sluts who disrespects me in front of my daughter!" I screamed at him.

"So what I have a life you know since you don't give me anything I have to get it somewhere else Makiea will live not seeing me for a while." He said.

"Ohhh really she'll live huh okay I guess it's not a problem when Cole continues to take her out for ice-cream like what her father should be doing matter of fact hold on!" I said. I pulled out my phone and called Cole he answered immediately.

"Hello my sunshine what can I do for you today?" He asked.

"Can you pick me up at Jonathan's I got a taxi here thinking he'll drop us home later but he's ​being a dumbass?" I asked him.

"Ahaha when is he ever not a dumbass I'm actually down on that side at the moment I'll be there in five just don't let that fucker come up to me or it will be bad." He said.

"Don't worry I got it." I said and hanged up the phone.

"Who was that Becca?" Jonathan asked

"Ohh just Cole bye now." I said and​ picked up Makiea from in the kitchen and headed to the door.

"You don't mean Cole from Nathaniel's gang do you if so help me God things will get messy." He said seething with anger.

"That's none of your business asshole if you would be present in your child's life this wouldn't of happened." I remarked.

I walked out the door with Makiea in my hands.

"Tell your daddy bye bye hunny." I told kiea.

"Bye bye daddy." She said with a smile.

Cole pulled up and got out of the car and opened the back door for me. I looked back seeing Jonathan glare at us.

"Rebecca do not get in that car!" Jonathan shouted.

"Goodbye Jonathan." I said with a scowl.

"I said not to get in that car!" He said and not a moment later I'm turned around and pinned onto the car.
Cole grabbed Jonathan and push him off me

"Come on dude don't be dumb Makiea's in her hands." Cole said.

"Don't Tell me what to do prick, I think you should mind your business this is between me and Becca!" Jonathan said raising his voice with each word that came out his mouth and got in Cole's face.

"It's my business if it's Becca's business so I think you should back the fuck off!" Cole exclaimed.

Makiea started crying and I was trying to calm her down.

"Jonathan just leave us alone when you're ready to be a father again call me. Cole let's go " I said pulling on Cole's Jersey. He turned around and got in the car slamming the door with a rage. I soon got in and kiea stopped crying.

"You'll regret this Cole you better watch your back.!" Jonathan exclaimed as Cole drove off.

Ten minutes later we arrived at my house Cole still pretty upset.

"Cole thank you for what you did. I didn't mean to start anything between you and Jonathan I was just upset that instead of him being around for his daughter he was banging cheap sluts. And I called you without thinking about what could happen. I'm sooo sorry if you hate me for this it's okay I'll understand." I said my voice just above a whisper. I go to get out the car with a sleeping kiea in my hands when Cole spoke for the first time since we left Jonathan's place.

"It's okay Becca I could never hate you. Your my best friend maybe something more I don't know yet but I'll do anything for you and I do know Nathaniel's going to hate you more than he already do. I'll sort it out don't worry my sunshine I'll fix this." He said as he watched me in the rearview mirror. I smiled at him and got out the car.

"You know I don't think he can hate me more than he already does but I'll look forward to Hippo screaming behind me." I said with a laugh. He laughed with me.

"Don't worry I'll try my best to protect you from Hippo. Bye Becca I'll call you tonight." He said and drove off after I said my goodbyes.

I walked inside my house and put kiea in my bed. I changed and laid next to her and turned the TV on to watch CSI Miami. My mind drifted to what Cole had said. Does he see me as more than a friend? As my smile grew I could only think about the possibilities. I soon feel asleep with a happy smile on my face.
