Chapter 15

Y/N's POV
I just stared at my little girl. I couldn't do anything. I watched as Aaron tried to save her but it was to late. She wasn't breathing. I just stared at her and started crying. "NOOOOOO!" I screamed and Aaron came over and started to pull me away. I tried to get back to Eve but he just got in front of me. He was speaking but I couldn't hear him. It was all muffled. Cadenza came over and said something to Aaron than took me and the little ones to her house. I just sat down and cried until I passed out.
Aaron's POV
After Y/N screamed I grabbed her and took her away from Eve. She tried to fight me and get away but I wouldn't let her. She was crying so much. "Y/N listen please get the little ones out of here" she didn't respond Cadenza showed up and I asked her take take the girls to her house. She nodded and lead the way. I went back over to Eve and picked her up. "My little girl....." I let a few tears leave my eyes and carried her to the doctor. Her heart was still beating but she was breathing so shallow it was like she wasn't at all. "Doc please tell me she'll be ok" he nodded checked his board once again and said "She will be fine just a few burns and to much smoke in her lungs. Other than that she's fine." I sighed and took my leave. I made my way to Cadenza's house and asked where Y/N was. "She in the guess room in the basement." I nodded and went to her. She was crying on her pillow. I came in and she looked up "What did you do with her?" She asked "I took her to the doctor and he said she has a few burns and inhaled to much smoke but she will be fine" she looked at me confused "She was not breathing Aaron!" She yelled and I explained to her about how Eve's breathing was really shallow and she hugged me tightly. I pulled away and pulled her into a kiss. I smiled as we turned it into a make out session. I pulled away from the kiss for air and she rolled over on the bed. I got in next to her and wrapped my arm around her waist pulling her close. She turned around again and put her head on my chest and she fell asleep like that. I couldn't sleep so I just held her and tried to picture myself in her place having me disappear and seeing Eve like that. I actually started to cry just a bit. Y/N set a hand on my cheek and whispered "Aaron why are you crying" "No reason just go back to sleep" I said and she looked me over again. She smiled at me and said "Thank you for protecting me and her Aaron" then we sat up and she pulled me into a hug. I hugged her back and then there was a knock at the door.
