We leaved Steff for a while to get some charcoal and barbeques for our mini-party. We were talking until we made our crushes a topic.
"How are you and Steff?"" I asked "Hmmm... We're okay, by a lot." He answered, "how about you and Ia.."
"Shh!! Shut up your mouth or I'll kill you!" I shouted facing my fist on his face.
"Whoa, whoa okay oka.."
"I already know it" I said, he looked at me and said.
"What do you already know?"
"About you and Steff." I looked at him
"About us?"
"Oh so you two have a relationship? I'm going to kill you!"
"No, we don't have a relationship, well sort of."
"What do you mean 'sort of'?" I asked
"Well.. uh!! Okay I'm going to tell you straight. I...." He takes a deep breath and said."I.. I love Steff and the truth is I court her."
"What?!"
"I court her, is there a prob..."
"Look, Darryl, a bad boy in your campus. I can't even trust you to, you know, take care of her. Another problem is that you're from Kingdom University, she, or we, are from the UP. You know what I am saying? Maybe you would see someone better there, but what would Steff do? You would forget her. And if she loves you more that her life..."
"I would take care of her. Now can I go?" Darryl asked
"We shall talk later"
Shems! She Didn't even tell me about that, I'm going to kill her if she truly lies on me. I can't imagine what....
"Hey Alice!" a familiar voice hold my arms. Is that? I looked around, it was...!
"Hi, Ian" Be normal Alice... Be normal. I continued my walk.
"Where are you going?" He putted his arms on my shoulders.
"I uhm... I'm going to get some charcoal to make some barbeques."
"Really? What a coincidence, me too!"
Ahahahaha! Coincidence? NO! Destiny? YES!
There are minutes of silence, even if after we get some charcoal. Now we're going back. UHH! I hate this silence, I'm going to break it!
"Hey Ian, I might not be in the position to ask you this but, do you have a crush?"
He stopped walking, leaving me alone. I don't want to look back. And then I shouted, not looking back to him. I shouted...
"Hey Ian! Don't leave me alone walking. You might not follow, nor you might be lost." Uhh! I can't take it anymore, I look at him "Come and Join me, for I will never be lost." What am I saying?
He look like his shocked, little of blush, then he ran, and he joined me walking.
"This is not the right time"
"Then When?" I curiously asked.
"If I'm sure that we have the same feelings." Then he looked at me and smiled. AHH!! I might melt. Be normal Alice..
"Are you Blushing?" He asked. What The?!?
"Me?! Blushing?! Is that a joke?!"
"But you're turning red" He added. What The?! Be Normal!! Uhh! I can't stop it. Escape plan!!
"Goodbye Now!!" I ran. AHH!! ran, Ran, RAN!!
"Ouch!" Somebody bumped me. I fell, Who the?..
"I'm sorry, I didn't saw you running. Are you okay?" Oh, It's Darryl. He assisted me from falling. And then he asked.
"Are you sure you're okay?" Whoa, he can be a gentlemen. I didn't know that.
"Yeah, yeah. I'm alright, thanks for assisting me." After that, we finally leaved this place. Whoa! Do you think he knows it? I think he don't. Tss.. Just forget about it okay?
5 minutes after, we're here, the pool, again, but where's Steff? Darryl quickly jumped on the pool. What The Hades Is Happening Here? Darryl fetched Steff on the side of the pool. I saw on his eyes the worry on Steff's life. I saw on his eyes the love on the lady he saved. I got my instinct back.
"She needs a mouth-to-mouth. She's not breathing. Do it to her. I'm going to the clinic. Do it quickly!" I was about to leave when I slipped whatever I want to say."Save her, Darryl. I know she loves you, and so do you. If you made her alive, my bet is now for you." I smiled and ran away.
On my way, I saw Ian. I grabbed his hands without hesitation. He was about to ask what's going on when I already answered him.
"Just Shut up and go with me" He remained speechless. We reached the clinic in less than a minute. We immediately asked the doctor to go to the hidden pool.
After a minute or two, here she is, rushing to the emergency room. We, Darryl, Ian and I. were absolutely crying. The doctors came they said Steff's Lungs has water.
