Monday morning, 2 days after the competition, I have a wonderful feeling on going to school. Because the competition went very good to us. We won 1st place! We have 5 Tablets, all of us has a gift check in any SM branch that is worth 5,000 pesos, one trophy for the school and a total of 20,000 pesos for the participant. And because I am studying in Kingdom University, and here, every win has its own 'pres con', we will also have one. I Quickly ate, take my bath and change my clothes. And for the first time in forever, I was the first one in my group mates to be here. It's only 5:30, yet the pres con is 6:30.
Because of my excitedness, I remembered the moments in that SpeeCHoir competition. Those happy thoughts, sad memories, and.... Steff... How is she right this point? Is she okay? Did she miss me? Do you still l...
"Darryl!! It's for the first time in forever!" It's Trisha with her bag.
"Really? Nah just kidding. Yeah, I'm a little bit early. And I don't know why... but I feel like... I'm changing. Something is changing with my traits, characteristics. And I can't explain it." I said.
"Then the fights results are good? Am I correct?" Trisha said while she is walking towards me.
Then I remembered what she said
Fighting for her is about Hoping that in the right time, you will realize that, she is worth Fighting for...
"Yeah, YEAH THAT'S IT! I was changing because I promised to her that I will change myself, and with her." I explained.
"I told you, you need her, Just take care of her and whatever happens, never break the promise in your heart."
After 30 minutes, our group mates are now coming one by one. And after 30 minutes, the Pres con happened. Many reporters from our campus, starting from elementary to colleges, they are all here. And they all know that we were the first set of Kingdom University Students that win that Competition. And we made history of this University. It's my time to answer some questions.
"It's Time for one of the Campus Prince to answer your questions. Please Give a Round Of Applause to Mr. Darryl Natividad." The emcee announced. I entered the pres con on the left side while waving my hands and smiling.
They're face can tell what they are thinking. And then somebody asked.
"Yes you." I called him.
"A very great morning Mr. Natividad. I would just like to ask that if I'm not mistaken, you were one of the worst person in this campus, then I became nervous when my adviser said that I'm the one who is assigned for you. But now, in what I am seeing right now, you're a lot different in whatever they told me. Can you tell us, is this competition changed you're world and how?" He asked me
"Well, I think nothing is changing with me, that's what I think. But there IS someone who changed me. She is someone who believes in me, who trust me... who loves me. And that's why she became my inspiration in changing my world, correcting the wrong Ideas, And correcting my mind. That's why I start changing now. Next Question Please."
After that question, the questions that were given by the reporters where all non-sense. Like, what's the feeling of being a winner, blah blah blah.
The pres con ended at 8:00, we were so tired in whatever happened in the pres con. So Athena wants to treat us in KFC, all of whatever we want, it's all her treat. Not all of us is there, It's only me, Ian, Trisha and of course Athena. Athena was the one who ordered. As we were waiting for her, we talked about anything. Then Trisha changed the topic.
"How are you with your 'not so girlfriend' Steff?" She asked.
"OHH You know why we were not in the announcement of winners?? Because we court Steff, we sang Don't want an Ending By Sam Tsui. Steff cannot believe that Darryl can sing, and she cannot believe that I can play the guitar." Ian Said
"You Do Play Guitar?!?!" Trisha sarcastically said. We laughed hard after that.
"You didn't know? Hahaha, Do you want me to court you?" Ian Jokes
"No, I don't want you to court me. ." We laughed again.
"Oh Here's Athena." We looked at our backs, here she is.
Yeah!!! Brunch time! Yum Yum Yum! I ordered Two-piece chicken with mushroom soup and fries. As I was eating, I stare outside, I saw Happy couples, walking while holding hands, Laughing happily, loving each other. And then I wondered, Is it like this, can we be like this. I need to make an action before the school ends. AHH! I have an Idea!! And that idea was....
