This is a one shot I've always wanted to write.

Killian is an overprotective husband of his pregnant wife. But why? Maybe David can explain.

"Emma be careful!" Killian yelled she had been trying to reach for something I'm the top shelf.

"Killian, I'm fine," he'd been so protective of her and it was beginning to get on her nerves. Everything she did he would be upset she was doing it. At first it was cute but now it's just annoying.

"I know love I just worry about you," he said as he wrapped his arms around her waist.

"But you don't have too, I can take care of myself," she said. She pushed away from him and went back to grabbing things out of cabinets.

The next day

Emma and Killian were at the charmings house. Emma was helping Snow prepare dinner while Killian and David set the table. Emma started carrying out a big plate of food. Killian rushed over to her.

"Emma let me carry that!" He said with a smile on his face. That was the last straw.

"That's it Killian! I don't need your help! Just leave me alone ok?!" She yelled she ran upstairs to her old room. David ran after her. Killian hung his head. Snow rubbed his back soothingly.

"I just don't want her to get hurt," he whispered on the verge of tears.

"I know honey, but you can't restrain her from everything ," she said.

Emma was sitting on her bed looking down at the ground with an angry look on her face. David sat down next to her.

"Emma, you've got to take it easy on him," David said.

"He won't let me do anything!" She yelled.

"Emma sweetie you have to understand," she looked up. "In the enchanted Forest, women died from pregnancy and birth all the time. It was very common. He just doesn't understand that we have things in this land that prevent that. You just have to cut him some slack," Emma teared up. She buried her face in her hands.

"I'm a terrible wife!" She cried. "He was just trying to help," Emma sobbed on.

"Why don't we go downstairs to him," David suggested. Emma nodded and they walked downstairs. When she saw him she practically threw herself in his arms.

"I'm sorry Killian I'm a terrible wife," she sobbed into his neck.

"No you're not love. I wouldn't let you do everything. I'm the one who should be sorry," Snow and David looked at each other and slowly left the room.

"I shouldn't have yelled at you, you were only protecting me," she lifted her head off his shoulder. "I don't deserve you," she whispered and started crying again.

"Don't say that Swan, we are meant for each other," he said.

"I love you. What did I do to deserve you?" Emma asked. Killian chuckled.

"You're giving me this child. I think that's quite enough. Plus you put up with me," he said. Emma laughed. "I love you too," he leaned it and met her in a passionate kiss.
