7 : Day out

I woke up to the sound of my alarm ringing. Shutting it off rather aggressively, I close my eyes again.

Realising how this day is supposed to be spent, I immediately sit up smiling to myself. Its already 11 a.m., I should get up now.

I went to the washroom doing the basic morning stuff and dressed myself in a black skinny jeans pairing it up with a white tshirt and a cardigan along with my white converse. I tie my hair into a ponytail and walk downstairs.

"Good Morning Maa" I greet my mother hugging her from behind.

"Someone looks so chirpy today! What's the matter?" She asks still doing her work.

"Well, can't your daughter just be happy?" I did not want her to freak out that I was friends with Robert coz  she was also a fan of him and she would probably start fangirling too and embarass me in front of him lol .

"Ofcourse you can be! But are you going out somewhere?" I swear she questions too much.

"Yeah, spending the day with Grace!" I lie again. Ugghh I don't like lying to her but I don't have a choice. Although I'll tell her eventually.

I hear the sound of a car horn and I knew its Robert. My mother was going to open the door and see who it was but I stopped her almost at the right time "Mom!!!!! Stop! Its Grace. I'm going". Before she could react I was already out of the house and running towards the car.

I open the door and quickly get inside "Hey" I say out of breath.

Robert chuckles "Hey there! But can I ask why are you in such a hurry?" He asks with an amused expression on his face.

I look at him still catching my breath. He was looking so fine even in his casual attire. "My mom...I told her I was spending the day with Grace and she was coming out to see whose car is it"

"Yeah so what? She doesn't like me or what?" He was now confused I guess.

"Are you kidding me? She's a fan of yours!" I say.

"Then I don't see why you wouldn't want her to see me. You're embarassed with me, Aren't you? " Robert says pretending to be hurt. He's such a dork.

I rolled my eyes "Yeah like anyone would be 'embarassed' to be seen with you...its just that she would just freak out knowing I'm friends with you."

"Mmm...whatever!" He says and starts the engine driving away. "So where are we going first?"

"Are you hungry?" I ask.

"Kinda. I haven't had breakfast today so yeah!" He says rubbing his tummy.

I laugh at his gesture "Neither have I. So lets go to Starbucks first. What do you say?"

"Yepp let's goooooo" he says like a kid throwing his fist in the air. I laugh so much. He's too adorable.

We sit in a cabin for two in Starbucks and order our coffees and smoothie. Robert is now wearing a beanie and aviators for disguise and nobody could actually recognise him.

"How many of you are there in your family?" He starts the conversation.

"Its just me, maa and paa! Although Paa doesn't live with us...he works out of town." I answer him too casually and maybe for the first time I've been this comfortable talking to him.

"Ohh okay! That's nice." He smiles.

"And what about you Robert?" I ask.

"Well I had a wife. But I got divorced with her six months ago." He looks down.
