Poppy sat in the corner of the room, shaking while replaying the events that she just witnessed. Her own father just killed her mother in cold blood. His own wife. Shot her dead without hesitation.

Poppy looks over at her deathly still mum, laying their, with a hole between her eyes. He had shot her. Poppy knew that her father had a temper but she didn't think he was capable of murder.

Her father panicked after realising what he had done. She looks over to the creme coloured arm chair that her father sits in. Head in his hands shaking as he silently cries. He looks over at Poppy one last time before shooting himself in the head, leaving poppy alone with nobody but her two dead parents that are laying before her.

Her deafly screams and cries are the only noises that echoes around the cold and empty house as the police enter the scene. Poppy is now officially alone.
