Applepaw and Goldenpaw had made it back to the WindClan camp, Tallstar was very strict on letting Applepaw back into WindClan. He finally made up his mind, and let her stay. Applepaw rushed over to the medicine cat's den and looked inside, Hawkheart was standing there with a cat who looked very familiar. "Amberpaw!" Applepaw squealed and ran inside.
Amberpaw looked up astonished at this cat, then her eyes softened, "Applepaw! Oh my StarClan I'm so glad to see you!" Applepaw purred, "So what are you doing in here?"
Amberpaw looked at Hawkheart before looking back at Applepaw, "I'm training to be a medicine cat-" Applepaw cut her off and squealed with delight, "Where are our siblings?" Applepaw's excitement faded and she saw Amberpaw's ears and tail droop.
"Graypaw.. died a few moons ago. Our brother wasn't the reason though. There was a small problem with a rogue and she was torn to shreds." Amberpaw choked out. Applepaw's grief reapproached, First Icey, then my sister! Applepaw felt devastated. Amberpaw rested her tail on Applepaw's shoulder before speaking again, "He is out training. He's trying to distract himself from Graypaw's death. You should go out and find him."
Applepaw murmured a goodbye before leaving the den with her tail dragging along behind her, ears flattened. Goldenpaw approached her, "Is this about Graypaw? I tried to save her but she didn't want me to get hurt.." He brushed his fur against hers.
Applepaw turned on him, teeth bared, "Just leave me alone!" And she raced out of camp. Looking around for the training area, Applepaw found Outlook Rock. She stalked up to it and laid where Redclaw had so many moons ago. She missed being an apprentice to him, Tallstar was mentoring her now because of what she did.

Applepaw stood at Outlook Rock for too long, Goldenpaw came back. He approached silently, and spoke, "I'm sorry about me butting it earlier, I'll leave you to grieve." Then he turned around and left. She looked up and saw a few cats across the thunderpath. One of the cats had a pale brown pelt.
"Rabbitpaw!" Applepaw began to screech, needing the comfort of her brother. She raced away from Outlook Rock and began to pelt across the moor. The patrol Rabbitpaw was in had turned to look at her and they let out yowls of joy, "Applepaw! You're back!"
Rabbitpaw hadn't seen her yet but the rest of the patrol was welcoming her back when Applepaw had sat down across the thunderpath.
Wait a second, that's not WindClan territory.. Applepaw thought in sudden alarm. Rabbitpaw reappeared holding a rabbit in his jaws, when he saw Applepaw, he dropped the rabbit and bounded across the thunderpath, not looking for any monsters.
Applepaw and the patrol both yowled, "Rabbitpaw, wait!" But the call was drowned out by the noise of a monster approaching, Rabbitpaw had nearly touched the end of the thunderpath when the monster sped by. Rabbitpaw made it.
Applepaw let out a sigh of relief then dropped to the ground.
