"Do we know the whereabouts of Penguin?" I heard Commissioner Gordon ask. He was in another room. I was laying on a very comfortable couch and had a blanket over me. I was thinking, wondering what in the hell had been going on. I remember meeting Batman and telling him what was going on with my sister and the evil man and that's when the darkness tried to take me out. I was so terrified that I couldn't even call out for Jesus! That's how bad it gets sometimes but I had Batman there for me. He brought me here and he was probably gone again.

I got up, my head feeling a little dizzy and looked for my bag. That was my number one concern was for my bag. I had my journal in it that had the letters to Batman. I blushed at the thought of him reading them. I found my bag on the other side of the room on an old weathered rocking chair. I looked across the hall and into the small kitchen seeing Jim Gordon sitting there with his hands running through his hair and a deep frown on his face. His wife came to him and rubbed his back and I sat there wondering if there was anything I could do for them.I went to my bag and grabbed it, putting it over my shoulder and put my shoes on before going into the kitchen.

"Excuse me," I whispered.

Mrs. Gordon looked at me with a smile on her face.

"Yes, honey?" She asked. She had a frail smile on her face and it reminded me of my mom actually. I looked down to my feet, unsure of what I wanted to ask. I didn't want to leave here because I didn't want to be out in Gotham alone. Maybe I just wanted to know what was going on.

"Where's the bathroom?" I asked sheepishly.

"Down the hall on the right," She said, "Would you like some breakfast? Jim and I need to go to work soon but our daughter said she would love to watch you until things settle down,"

I was scared to have someone watch over me, to be honest. Jim looked at me and then looked to his wife. He reassured me that his daughter was the nicest woman on the face of the planet and that we had something very much in common. I nod and decided that I was going to trust them. That's when I went down the hall to use the restroom and when I did, I couldn't help but look in the mirror that was old and looked like it had grim going around it. Living in Gotham, Jim Gordon and his wife didn't live in a very well house like I did. It was a big apartment but nothing seemed to work and there was grim everywhere.

"Jesus, can you help these nice people have a better home?" I asked lightly. I felt him smiling at me and telling me that this is the place that He had given them because it was the safest place in Gotham. I nod and washed my hands and started to pray to Jesus and asked Him to keep me safe while I was with Barbra. I knew that he would but I just wanted to be careful. Could she have superpowers too?

"Honey! Barbra's here!"

Mrs. Gordon called to me. I took a deep breath and squeezed my hand, knowing that Jesus was holding my hand.
