Current Day
Baste Prison

Adelina sat with her back against the wall, hugging her knees to her chest. She felt like an absolute failure.

She searched for 680 years for her king. Looking high, looking low. Then one day, holy knights found her hiding in the woods from humans and imprisoned her.

Apparently, the King's Forest burned to the ground, and Adelina was sentenced to 300 years in Baste Prison for her lie of protecting the realm.

Twenty long years Adelina sat in that cell. Her once healthy fair skin became as pale as a ghost, her hair, never being lightened by the rays of the Sun, grew dark like blood and curlier from never being brushed. Adelina's eyes grew duller, and her wings grew darker from the dirt and grime of the cell.

Adelina stopped trying five years ago. Five years ago when she heard the awful news that broke her heart.

"King, the grizzly sin of Sloth finally died according to Holy Knight Gilthunder."

In the first few years of her sentence, they brought Holy Knights in to let her know that her king was working for the kingdom as a knight, and he was under no circumstances allowed to know of her existence until her sentence was finished.

Fifteen years after her sentence they sent one of the guards to break the news to her, a sickening taunting grin on his face.

"Maybe he would have lived to see your release if he wouldn't have killed the Grandmaster." It was with those words that Adelina was sent to solitary confinement down below ground on constant watch much like her new neighbor who she had no idea was there.

She had used her power of Imprisonment. She had the power to use plants as her allies, growing them from no where and making them disappear from no where.

She used her move Full Body Imprisonment to wrapped thorned vines all the way around the guard, squeezing her hand to make it tighter and pierce his skin as tears ran down her face.

"Lord Fairy King would never!" She shouted in agony.

"HOW DARE YOU KILL A MAN WHO IS KIND NATURED!" She screeched sobbing harder. The man let out a blood curdling scream as she lifted another hand, a vine with a sharp sword like point pressed very lightly against his forehead.

"Tell me it's a lie! Harlequin would ne-"

"SIEZE HER!"

Adelina blinked staring dully at the wall before hearing faint talking outside.

"H-How did you get out?!"

She slowly turned her head hearing the guard's-the same guard she almost killed-frantic voice.

"I kicked the door down of course." A voice said taunting sing songy voice.
The young fairy slowly picked herself up and padded shakily over to the door looking through the peep hole.

She saw the two guards standing against the opposite wall cowering in fear, and a tall shirtless long white haired man standing with bloody holes in his skin.

"Besides-" He paused to rip a spike from his skin. Adelina frowned in confusion. He looks human how is he alive through this.

The Fountain of Youth.
