It was hard not really knowing what your sexuality was. I mean, I used to like boys, I used to like girls, I used to just think I was pansexual. But that's not the right word for it.
I set my lunch tray down on my table, waiting for my friends.
"Hey Ash, what's up?" Peyton asked as she sat down.
"Nothing much. What about you?" I asked her as I started eating.
"Eh, nothing. I mean, I still have that crush on Mel, but we all know that will go nowhere," she told me as soon as Mel sat down.
"What will go nowhere?" Mel asked, looking at Peyton. God, I just wanna tell them that they like each other. It's so obvious.
"Mel, you do realize that Peyton likes you? And Peyton, you know Mel likes you?" Olli said as they sat down at the table. Olli was the one I had a crush on. They were so gorgeous.
"Wait, you like me too?" Mel and Peyton asked each other at the same time. Peyton asked to switch seats with Olli and Olli was fine with it.
Olli was sitting next to me. Oh my gosh. What do I do? Do I talk to them? Do I just eat my food? Oh my gosh they're so adorable. I wonder if their shirt is as soft as it looks.
"Hello? Earth to Rei?" Olli said, waving a hand in front of my face with a cute smile on their face.
"Oh, haha sorry. I was just staring off into space," I responded, smiling at them.
"I thought I lost you there," Olli joked and I giggled. I just giggled. 'Do guys giggle?' I thought to myself.
"So Rei, do you wanna hang out after school today?" Olli asked.
"Yeah, sure. Sounds fun," I smiled at them.
"Cool. Just meet me by my locker and we can go over to my house," Olli told me and I nodded my head.

After school came and we just got to Olli's house. This isn't my first time being at their house, but it is my first time being in their house with just them.
"My parents aren't home yet. They don't normally get here until about 5ish," Olli told me with a shrug. Then, Olli led me upstairs to their room. We walked in and Olli closed the door.
We put our book bags down and then we both sat on their bed.
"So, what do you wanna do?" I asked Olli and Olli shrugged their shoulders.
"Wanna watch a movie?" Olli asked and I nodded my head.
"Yeah, sure," I responded. Olli got up and grabbed a movie, putting it into their tv to play. We sat shoulder to shoulder, leaning against their headboard.
"What movie are we watching?" I asked and Olli shushed me.
"You'll see," they said playfully, leaning over to turn off the lights.
When the title came up, I almost punched Olli. It was a scary movie and I hated scary movies with a passion.
"You know I hate scary movies," I whined and Olli snickered.
"Yeah, I know. But I'm right here," Olli winked and I could feel myself blush. I look back to the tv hoping they couldn't see my blush.

The movie was getting really scary and I ended up curling into Olli's side. Then, Olli shifted me around a bit and before I knew it, I was sitting in their lap. I started blushing.
"Are you uncomfortable? I don't wanna make you uncomfortable," Olli asked, wrapping their arms around my waist.
"N-No, I'm fine," I stuttered out. I wanted so much to just turn around and kiss them, but I couldn't.

Once the movie was over, we let the credits roll and sat in silence for a moment.
"Hey Rei," Olli said and I turned around in their lap.
"Yeah?" I asked and I swear Olli was blushing.
"I-I, uh, I just wanted to say that...that I like you," Olli said, looking away from me. I smiled and grabbed their face with my hands, making them look at me.
"I like you too, Olli," I said and then kissed them. Their lips were so soft and tasted like cherry chapstick.
