Chapter 21- Misunderstanding.

Jade has been at the cabin for 4 days already going through the details also being updated by Tony and Claire if she saw anything funny. She spoke to her Dad but he still doesn't know what is going on or that she is in a cabin. Jade knows he will be furious if he found out anything at the moment. Jade hardly got any sleep. If she is idle then Ethan crawls into her mind so Jade made it a habit to work on the evidence. So far she knows the man but not the woman. The last letter came the exact time that Jade got back to campus a few days ago. It's almost too perfect. Jade just realised she was being followed. Jade sighed. But nothing happened that would explain his behaviour. Jade was looking over the lipstick thinking maybe she can get the brand when her phone rang.

"Hello?" Jade answered.

"Jade?" It was Angelo.

"Oh Angelo. What's up?"

"Well that's a surprise. I didn't think this number would work. Tony gave it to me when I couldn't get in contact with you."

"Yeah my other phone broke a few nights ago but this is temporary though."

"I see. So how are you doing?" Angelo asked. Worry present.

"I'm not sure." Jade answered honestly.

"Jade I'm sorry about all this."

"What are you apologising for? This isn't your fault."

"Yeah but right now I'm not exactly a great friend. I don't know what to do with Ethan anymore." Jade got worried instantly. "He has been to almost all the clubs in the area getting wasted. He's off again to yet another one. I'm here with him right now but I know Bri doesn't want me here. She doesn't say it though because of Ethan but even I don't like being here." Jade felt guilty and at the same time angry at Ethan. He was down in the dumps but he doesn't have to drag his friend with him.

"Angelo where are you right now?" Jade asked grabbing her keys.

"Devil's Kiss."

Jade stopped shock written all over her face.

"Doesn't that place have hookers and so on?"

"Yeah it does." Came a tired voice of Angelo.

"Alright I'll be there in 20 minutes. Stay where I can see you two."

"Yeah we will." She hung up and placed the key into the ignition and drove off. Jade was disappointed in Ethan this is what he does when they have a fight? He doesn't attempt to look for her or anything but goes to play tongue twisters with a hooker. Jade has had it. She knows Ethan isn't that weak of a man you just gotta remind him and that is exactly what she's gonna do.

Jade got to the club and parked. The music was barely contained by stone walls and mountain of bodies grinding on each other. She quickly got into the club. Jade spotted Angelo at the bar looking uncomfortable and to think he used to be here every night. Jade went up to him shouting in his ear.

"Where is he?"

"Over there." Angelo pointed to a corner where Ethan was leaned against the wall as some girl was dancing on him but he just didn't care. Jade isn't going to lie he looks like shit. Unshaven, probably haven't showered either and probably reeks of alcohol.

"Come on Angelo." She walked through the sweaty bodies till she got to the corner. "Get lost." Jade told the girl.

"Excuse me?"

"You're excused." The girl couldn't believe this.

"I really don't think you have any business here kid." She stepped up to Jade. Jade wasn't in the mood for this.
