Chapter 16- Cockblocker

Ethan ran around all day following Jade as she went from the library to the archives. They didn't finish till late in the afternoon when it was time to take Eli home. Jade tagged along with him. He swung his hand on her shoulders as they walked casually. Jade was shy about his public displays of affection but he couldn't resist to tease her. They entered the class and Jade disappeared again. This time it wasn't books or pages but kids. Lots of them. They all gathered around her and tugged her here and there.

Each parent came for their kids till it was just Eli and Blake. Jade left Ethan, Eli and Blake as she went to the opposite classroom to say good bye to the twins.

"Bro you can't take Jade." Eli finally said after silence fell on them.

"You can't decide that either Eli." Ethan retorted. "Besides if she is mine doesn't that mean you can spend time with her more when she comes to visit our place?" Eli thought for a while.

"True but Jade is special to me. She is the first to actually talk to me with actual kindness and she doesn't lie to us kids." Eli said. Ethan stooped to his brother's height and stroked his head.

"I know buddy." Ethan smiled and Eli did too.

"You Knightley brothers are plotting to steal our Aunt Jay, aren't you?" Blake asked holding a ruler as a sword.

Ethan rose and Blake felt puny. Blake watched as Ethan rose until Blake couldn't balance and fell. Ethan hovered over him. "We aren't plotting anything and even if we did it would be useless because Jade will always fight me till I give in. I can't stop her no matter how hard I try. So don't worry your Aunt Jay will always love you boys a lot so she would never let us separate her and you boys. Besides I can try but that would make her resent me more and I wouldn't like that to happen." Ethan told Blake as Blake sat with his legs folded listening.

"Ethan do you love Aunt Jay?" Blake asked looking at him making Ethan's eyes go wide. Has it reached that point? Ethan wasn't sure. It can't be. Ethan was deep in thought when Jade returned.

"What happened here?" Jade asked approaching the boys. "Blake come on sweetie your Dad is here." She reached for his hand and carried him to his Dad.

"Bro are you alright?" Eli asked looking at his big brother who didn't seem to respond. He waved his small hand at his eyes still nothing. Jade entered and saw Ethan in the same position then Eli went to her gesturing for her to pick him up which she did. He then buried his face in her chest and rubbed it side to side. "Jade you're so soft." Eli said as Ethan's ears perked up. Ethan turned and jealousy hit him like a wave. He stood and stalked over to where Jade and Eli were hoping to peel him off her.

"Jade put him down." Ethan said through gritted teeth.

"Why?" Jade defended holding him tighter. Eli looked at his brother from her chest and smiled.

"I said put him down or let me carry him." Ethan once again wanted to throw his brother against a wall.

"It's okay. He isn't heavy or anything." Jade said as she walked towards the car park. Eli peeked at his brother from her shoulder and waved at him evil shining in his eyes. Ethan grabbed his brother's bag and stormed after them pissed. Jade was his. His little brother was slowly getting on his nerves and boy did he know all the right buttons to press at the same time. Jade stopped waiting for Ethan balancing Eli in her arms. Ethan pressed the unlock button on his key and Jade gently placed Eli in. As she bent over Ethan got a pleasant view and just stop to admire. Her jeans clung to her legs as her big jersey rode up as she stretched her arms to buckle Eli. Ethan walked straight into her body and held onto her hips blocking the view in case there were any body around looking at her.
