"I'm going home!" Jimin threw a large pillow at Taehyung and picked up his bag.

"No you're not," Taehyung laughed and held out his hand for his best friend to take.

"Yes I am. I'm so sick of you picking on me, Taehyungie. I'd rather sweat to death at home than spend one more day with you."

Taehyung laughed and walked with Jimin to the door. "Okay, crybaby. Bye."

Jimin looked surprised. "Bye?"

"Yep. See you later," Taehyung smiled at Jimin.

"... bye." Jimin turned the knob and walked outside. He was surprised Taehyung just let him go. Something felt unnatural about the whole thing so Jimin turned around and opened the door. Taehyung wasn't there.

"Taehyung?"

"How was sweating to death?" Jimin heard from the kitchen.

Jimin then realized Taehyung let him leave because he knew Jimin wouldn't actually leave. "I hate you."

"I love you, too. What do you want to do today?"

"I have an idea," Jimin giggled, suddenly grateful Taehyung's mom didn't look in the freezer. He pulled the beer out and popped the top off.

Taehyung wasn't amused. "Really?"

"Why not?"

"Beer is gross, Jimin."

"You've had it?"

"Yes. It's disgusting."

Jimin shrugged, taking a gulp right in front of Taehyung. His initial reaction was to spit it out, but he wanted to prove Taehyung wrong. He swallowed the cool liquid.

"Told you," Taehyung noticed.

"It's not that bad." Jimin drank some more. The first taste was a lot worse than the second, the third tasting better than the second.

"Jimin, slow down." Taehyung took the bottle from Jimin and held it above his head.

Jimin pouted at the half full bottle that was out of his reach. "Fine. I won't drink any more. Let's play a game or something."

"Chess? Loser does a dare." Jimin nodded his head and grabbed the game from the closet. The beer was gone when he came back. He wasn't shocked in the slightest bit to see two large cups of water on the table.

He was shocked, however, when he won the first game.

"I dare you to... sing." In his fuzzy reasoning, Jimin decided it was a good dare. He enjoyed Taehyung's voice.

Taehyung began to sing a steady tune, one Jimin wasn't sure if he's heard before. He listened as Taehyung sang about writing to the Moon and spending time with a nameless person in the early hours of the day.

Jimin sat mesmerized by Taehyung. How does he affect him like this? With a voice like chocolate and a personality like candy floss, Jimin wondered if anyone else felt this way towards Taehyung. Maybe it was just him.

"That was beautiful," he blurted out. By this time, he had maneuvered his way across the floor and was sitting beside Taehyung. He swore he saw a faint blush dust Taehyung's cheeks.

"Thanks, Jimin."

When Taehyung looked up from the floor and stared at Jimin through his eyelashes, he swore he felt a pang in his chest. He always knew Taehyung was beautiful, but there in that moment of time as they sat under the ugly glow of the false sun above them, Taehyung looked pure and soft and absolutely stunning. Jimin wanted nothing more than to scoop him up and cuddle him until the sun burned out and the earth was raided by aliens. That's when Taehyung let out a breath he had been holding in.
