I wanna begin this chapter by a small incident that happened with me . one day I went to the masjid and I saw a woman praying .. while she was praying she was looking every where else except her sujood place and she even stood up and was looking for another place while she was praying .. she did things that are totally not accepted in salah (prayer) at all , but the point is that she do not know that this is wrong and I tried talking to her but I do not know her language so I couldn’t . I was very very touched by this incident because I was thinking that HOW MANY PEAOPLE IN THS WORLD WHO ARE MUSLIMS AND ARE IGNORANT ABOUT ISLAM ??!!
Who is responsible for those people who do not know anything about their religion ??
Who will teach them if we don’t??
Now a days technology spread every where .. from online books to videos to websites and social media … and still there are MANY people who do not know about their religion . wallah I saw people at the holy mosque who are raising their voices and doing things that shouldn’t be done at a place like this !! don’t they know that the prophet was here one day on this land ?? don’t they know that the sahabas were there one day ??
It is our responsibility to try to spread islam and its teachings …
reference : Book 13, Hadith 1379
'Abdullah bin 'Amr bin Al-'As (May Allah be pleased with them) reported:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Convey from me even an Ayah of the Qur'an; relate traditions from Banu Israel, and there is no restriction on that; but he who deliberately forges a lie against me let him have his abode in the Hell."
[Al- Bukhari].
وعن عبد الله بن عمرو بن العاص رضي الله عنهما أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: "بلغوا عني ولو آية وحدثوا عن بني إسرائيل ولا حرج، ومن كذب علي متعمدًا فليتبوأ مقعده من النار" ((رواه البخاري)).
The prophet PBUH said as I wrote above “ convey from me even an Ayah of the qu’an”
So every one should try to spread islam by his ways ..
Ways to spread islam :
1- Talk with your friends and family about allah and about islam.
2- If you saw any one of your friend or family made something wrong in islam try to advise them if u can by a friendly and a nice way
3- Share inspiring videos about islam
4- Distribute islamic books at masjids for example
5- Teach kids CORRECT knowledge about islam because they are the future generation
6- Try to go or hear islamic lectures ad lessons to have a great knowledge about islam .
7- Share some thikr .
8- If you can write a book write it . BUT if you are hesitant about anything DO NOT write it because you are writing about islam so don’t write something wrong . this is not a recipe where you can add any thing you want.
PLEASE WE HAVE TO SPREAD OUR ISLAM AND ITS TEACHING .. THIS THING IS VERY VEY IMPORTANT FOR US AND FOR THE UPCOMING GENERATIONS .
