Hello!!! I know you want to get started on the story but I wanted to put some information about the story along with disclaimers and my fictional cast. If you know what to expect in this story or you truly don't really care, please feel free to skip on over to the first chapter. If you don't know what to expect and actually want to read all of this, feel free!!!!! Enjoy as I ramble.
Now before we get started, just to remind you that this story will have some slow updates. I work every day except on the weekends and have a social life, so I don't always have the time to write and update every single day like I used to. I try to do that on the weekends as much as I can. Please bear with me.
Okay, that's out of the way let's get to what I really wanted to discuss here.
First things first, let's start with the info!!!!:
-There's no "yearly" setting in this story so you can imagine it being 2016 if you wanted to. The characters ages though are high school age. Harry and Alaina are 16, about to be 17 in their 3rd year of high school (or junior year), but the way I picture Harry's character is when he was in his frat boy phase, except he doesn't have a lot of tattoos.
-This is the only warning I'm giving you! This story will contain abuse (no Harry isn't involved) and bad language. If you find any of that is triggering then I suggest you don't read. There will also be descriptive sexual content. All I can say is....buckle up *smirk*.
-THIS STORY IS FOR FICTIONAL PURPOSES! NONE OF IT REPRESENTS THE REAL HARRY STYLES OR OTHER ACTORS PORTRAYING DIFFERENT CHARACTERS IN THIS STORY!
In NO shape or form is this story trying to degrade Harry for who he is as a person in reality. In this book, Harry Styles is just a character played by him. The way he's portrayed is fictional. I may not know him personally but from what I learned while being a fan of him since the 1D days, I'm well aware that he's very sweet and kind and the last thing I want to do is hurt his reputation. All this is, is me using my creativity as a writer.
-As said in the description Harry and Alaina are childhood best friends who are crushing on one another but are unaware of each other's feelings. That means, things aren't going to be so rushed and it's going to take some time. Be patient!!!
-This is another soft Harry fanfic so prepare yourself!!! But there will be times where you would want to throw your phone against the wall in frustration. Like in any other romance story, characters will get jealous of their crush's partner's/love interest or get into useless arguments, I know that's kind of cliche in today's writing world but there wouldn't be any drama without any of that.
-There will be party chapters where there will be teens drinking. You know how some high schoolers can be sometimes lol. The drinking age here in the US is 21+, while in the UK it's 18+. I'm not trying to encourage or promote underage drinking, this is just me giving you a heads up.
