before I start, I'd like to say that being a person who was diagnosed with anxiety definitely goes through things like this. If you have anxiety and ever need to talk, I'm here :) also, this is NOT a joke about anxiety, it was just something I'd like to point out to the world. Okay, I'm done, enjoy loves !!
I walk through the school hallways, my books being clenched against my chest by my arms, looking down to avoid eye contact with anyone.
As soon as I started walking past the school's popular kids, I closed my eyes hoping that they wouldn't notice me walking by. But, being the people they are, they noticed me.
"Hey look, it's (y/n)," Chelsea said, making me breathe much faster and my hands start to shake a bit.
"HEY (Y/N), I HEARD YOU LIKE HARRY," another one of the kids said, making heat rise to my cheeks, the statement being true.
Not gonna lie, I did have slight, secret feelings for Harry. And even though he hung out with the cool kids, he was actually pretty kind - unlike most of the boys who went to my school.
"Guys, leave (y/n) alone. She's just trying to get to where she needs to go without you bothering her," Harry said, a little smile creeping across my face.
"Aww, look. (y/n)'s smiling because she thinks Harry likes her like she likes him. Isn't that right (y/n)?" Chelsea said, making me stop walking.
I didn't even say anything until Harry came by me, putting his hand on my shaking shoulder, making me shiver a bit.
"C'mon, I'll walk with you to where you need to go," he said, making me look up a bit and smile.
"Harry? Where the hell are you going?!" Chelsea screamed, clearly aggravated that Harry was walking with me.
"I'm walking with (y/n) to where she needs to go, I'm done with you guys. Goodbye," he said, making my self confidence go up a bit.
By the time me and Harry walked away from his old group, we started talking. This was the first time I had ever talked to him.
"Thank you, Harry - but you didn't really have to abandon your friends just for me," I said, looking up at him.
"What friends? I didn't like them anyway, the just liked me because of my looks," he said, running his hand through his short, chocolate brown hair.
Gosh, he was so good looking.
"Well, not to agree with them, but you are pretty good looking," I said, making him frown a bit, "but then again, I really do like you for your personality."
"You do?" he said, a smile creeping onto his face, his cute dimples showing, "pretty much everyone likes me because of my looks."
"Well, yeah Harry. You're a great guy, I honestly will feel happy for the girl you ask out instead of feeling pure jealousy."
Guys like Harry make me break out of my shell; you know, like talk more. Not even guys, but just Harry.
"Well, I actually have a girl in mind that I'd like to be my girlfriend. She's quite nice and beautiful."
"Who?" I said, feeling a bit upset that he liked another girl.. guess I got my hopes up only to have them crushed.
"You."
"Wait - what?" I was shocked. Me? Really? Out of all the girls in this school, he chose the one who barely even talks and likes reading Harry Potter?
"You, (y/n). Even though we didn't really - talk much - I still admired you as much as I could. You're just.. perfect."
"Oh my gosh, Harry. I don't know what to say," I smiled a bit, fiddling with my fingers.
"(y/n), do you want to be my girlfriend?" He said, making me look up at his bright green eyes, nodding a 'yes'.
"I'd love to Harry, of course I'll be your girlfriend," I kissed his cheek.
"Come here," he said before wrapping his arms around my waist and kissing my lips passionately, making sparks fly inside of me, "I love you."
"I love you too."
And after that day; I never had to be afraid of anyone anymore. It ended up that me and Harry got married and we now have 2 kids.
The end ❤️
