My little girl sat next to me and waited for her dad to come home, holding onto my hand and not taking her eyes off the entrance.
"Mommy, is daddy almost home?" She said, tightening her grip onto my hand and looking up at me for the first time.
"I don't know babygirl, but-"
"Daddy!" She said, letting go of my hand and running away, only for me to look up and see Harry squatting down with open arms for Darcy to run into.
I smiled as I got up, walking to my husband and 3 year old daughter who were hugging, a smile plastered on Harry's face.
Ever since Darcy was born, it had seemed like they had this magical bond that would never break. It was like nothing could separate them ever.
"Mommy! Daddy's home!!" Darcy cheered, Harry waking over with her in his arms.
"I see that," I smiled, looking at Harry who put Darcy down and hugged me, kissing my lips once.
"Ew, mommy and daddy kissed. Bleh!" Darcy said, sticking her tongue out when she said 'bleh'.
"I missed you. I missed Darcy. I missed all of this," he said, turning to pick up our little girl.
"I did too. She wouldn't stop looking at the door when she heard you were coming home," I laughed as I took his suitcase, him carrying Darcy.
"I missed you so much daddy. Mommy missed you so much that she took out the big pillow," she said, making my face turn red.
"Oh really?" Harry smirked, looking at me, "well I bet you missed daddy's tickles the most!"
He started tickling her stomach, her laughs filling the atmosphere as she used her 2 small hands to push away his big one.
"Daddy stop! My tummy hurts," she giggled, making him stop and lift her up, kissing her cheek quickly.
"Daddy loves all of you," he said, Darcy wrapping her arms around Harry's neck and burying her face against his shoulder.
"I love you babe," he said to me, taking one hand and holding mine; lacing our fingers together.
"I love you too Haz. You and our little family."
