Bright smile across the coffee shop.
Phone number on a gum wrapper slipped in my hand.
Late night text.
A nervous knock on a door.
Laughter filled car ride.
Talkative candle lit dinner.
Sunny picnic on an old blanket.
Roasting marshmallows over a camp fire.
Staying up late to stare at the stars.
Speakers vibrating with the music.
Windows down to feel the wind on our faces.
Piggy back rides.
Midnight phone calls just to hear each other's voice.
First time saying I love you.
Kisses with cherry chapstick.
Long hugs.
Eyes rolling.
Irritated gestures.
Failed expectations.
Quite car rides.
Cruel words.
Shouting.
Dishes smashing against the wall.
First time saying I hate you.
Stomping towards the exit.
Front door slamming.
Tires screeching up the driveway.
Unanswered phone calls.
Unheard voice mails.
Tear filled eyes.
Pouring rain.
Slippery roads.
Glass shattering on pavement.
Tire marks in the grass.
