I pulled on a black long sleeve shirt and headed out for work at the BAU. I left the apartment and started the short walk to the building. Soon Spencer was alongside me. Sometimes I forget that he lives in the same building as me. He made small talk before he randomly stopped talking.
"You know, it's probably about 90 degrees out and you're wearing a long sleeve shirt." He said. I shrugged.

"It's the only shirt I found that was clean." He probably knows that it's bullshit. He knows I have neatness issues. I can't leave clothes dirty for more than a day.

"It doesn't take a genius to know that you just lied to me." He paused and stopped. By now we were out front of the glass doors that had the BAU logo on it. I kept walking but he grabbed my arm. "Are you hurting yourself again Sam?" He asked. I ignored him.

"Spence we have a case." I pulled my arm away.

This case was a nightmare. Our prime witness ended up in the hospital because she tried to kill herself. I was the one who found her. There was so much blood, which normally doesn't bother me but the situation was different. I sat down on the jet and put my ear buds in. Spencer moved and sat across the table from me. The majority of the team was asleep. The rest were on their way to it. He's not going to leave me alone about it. I pulled out one of my headphones. "What do you want Spencer?" I snapped.

"I was going to see if you're okay but it's not like you'll tell me anyway." Ouch. I rolled my eyes.
"You're a damn profiler you shouldn't have to ask." I went to put my ear bud back in but he grabbed my wrist and shoved my sleeve up. I yanked my arm away and put my ear bud in. I closed my eyes and fell asleep.
----
I got home and threw myself onto my couch, though I wasn't down for long before there was a knock on my door. It better not be Spencer. That kid is my best friend but he can get on my nerves very easily. Yep, it's Spencer. I rolled my eyes and walked away, leaving the door open as my way of telling him to come in. I threw myself on the couch again. He came in and sat down on the couch next to me. "You told me you'd stop Sam." I rolled my eyes and told him to fuck off, which surprisingly didn't offend him. "What's your fucking deal, Samantha?" He did two things there that he knows I hate, using my full name and he raised his voice at me. I flinched but didn't skip a beat to yell back.

"Well, if you didn't have your head stuck up your girlfriend's ass you'd know what happened Spencer." His expression softened. "Everyone on the team knows except for you. No one told you because you either talk about work or your girlfriend," I said quietly through gritted teeth/

"What happened?" He stuttered.

"My uncle got out on parole 3 weeks ago. You can imagine what happened." I said. My uncle was in prison for repeated accounts of rape, his victim? Me.

"Did he-" I cut him off.

"Tried to. His funeral was last week." I started crying. I wiped my eyes. "How are you two doing anyway?" I asked trying to change the subject.
"She uh actually broke up with me" his body language saddened. I asked him why. "I didn't really know her for very long. I didn't want to do sexual things with her yet. She didn't like that." He said. I frowned. It was silent for a moment and he yawned. "I guess I'm just gonna go home." He stood.

"You can stay if you want," I said not looking up from my lap. He must have read my body language because he sat back down. I turned on a movie and put my head on his shoulder. He laid back and I moved over on his chest. Head on his chest and laying between his legs.

"I've always loved this." He said. I nodded.

"Me too" I closed my eyes. "I've always loved you"
