Chapter 2- The Decision

Krystin had managed to pass the AME-C exam but with terrible marks. While they were flying back home, she was constantly thinking about the punishment she could get once she reveals her grades.

After reaching home everyone went to get freshen up quickly for dinner. Later they were called for dinner downstairs. And Krystin decides to reveal her result after her parent at dinner table. Everybody was enjoying their dinner, Krystin builds up enough courage to reveal the result and clears her throat to get the attention of family members.
"Ah, Mum Dad I -I want to tell you something "

"Yeah, go on ..." Said mum passing the salad to Denis.

"Listening, continue..." said dad still concentrating on his food.

"The results of AME-C are out".

"What? When? " mum frowns.

"Today" in a low voice, looking down at the floor.

"Alright then, show us your report scroll," asked mum while eating her salad.

"What marks did you get by the way",  asked dad.

"an F" Krystin replies in a low voice.

"What? an F? Again?" mum yells, almost breaking her plate with the fork.

"But I passed the exams" with a weak smile.

Dad and Denis had almost splattered out the food from their mouth on hearing her grades. Denis cannot stop laughing at her.

"This is the fourth time in a row that you've got an F" dad cried with anger in his eyes "What are you up to Krystin? you will be expelled if you don't improve your marks you know that right?" Said dad, in a worried tone.

"That's enough now I'm not tolerating this in my house anymore, you are such a shame in the name of Iclyns" mum shouts pointing the fork at Krystin.

"But mom, I wi--"

"No 'Buts' and no 'Ifs', now I'm done with you little girl" snapped mum.

After a big depressing moral lecture and getting her wand seized, Krystin goes to her room.

"Man things cannot go worse than this, no games, no wand for two whole months".
And no wand means no magic for her.
