It's 5:47 AM, weak rays from the sun coming through a small slit between the curtains of the windows fell directly on the eyes of Krystin, snoring in great sleep. But this was not enough to wake her up for today's test in the potions class. When the hands of the clock which looked like an owl, hit six on it, the owl's eyes slide upwards and open like a sliding door, and the owl becomes alive and starts flying around Krystin and yelling "wake up--wake u".
Krystin, whose sleep was now disturbed by the owl, murmurs "5 minutes more Uzo, please let me sleep" clutching her blanket and covering her head.

When it was 5 past 6, Uzo who was lying on the edge of the bed to the left of Krystin goes below the bed and begins to push it upwards, tilting the bed. A moment later Krystin fall onto the floor. Krystin, now awake with a little sleep left in her crystal blue eyes, "I wished I haven't set Uzo to 'extreme'. He's gonna be replaced soon. I'm done with this foolish alarm clock" said Krystin in frustration.

Uzo, still yelling, "wake up, wake up", glides over the blanket and sat next to Krystin. She grabbed the clock and pressed the off button on the back of Uzo. Uzo flew back to its place sitting with his eyes shut and wings closed to his body just like a real owl sitting on a tree branch.

Uzo is a wooden alarm clock shaped in a form of an owl with different settings levels (from normal to extreme) to wake up a person. It wasn't meant to knock people out of their beds just to wake them up. It's a defective alarm clock which is a result of Krystin's failed attempt to change the owl into a mermaid with her magic.

Krystin looked at the blanket and pillow that were lying with her on the floor and looked over her shoulders giving a glance at Uzo. She comes back to her senses, now fully awake, and soon realizes about the potions class at eight. She quickly grabbed her clothes and hurried to the shower.

while in the shower, Krystin kept thinking about the potions class and starts remembering all those potions' names and the ingredients that professor Qazelvood had taught. She tries to remember those potions but she doesn't remember more than two of them.

After a shower, she dries her hair with a towel vigorously. Her hair was visibly tangled after the towel's vigorous treatment. It wasn't a big issue for short hair though. Straight black hair gets wrapped around her fingers as she tries to detangle them. Her hair was unusual. TItanium white hair locks near her bangs shined through the dark hair that covers most of her head. She quickly fixes her hair and is ready to go. It was 6:54 already, she started getting dressed in her school uniform as fast as she can, time was ticking fast and she knows if she doesn't hurry up she'll be late for class. After getting dressed in her school uniform she pulled open the middle drawer of her study table and yells
"Get up, we've got loads of work to do, and Bagy where are you? come out here, quick, we don't have a whole day now".
All the notebooks and scrolls came out of the drawer, floating in thin air just in front of her. A Scarlet-colored school bag lying under her bed came gliding over her head and stood floating in the air just next to the notebooks and scrolls.
"Open up -- and Charms, transportation, transfiguration, pens, homework, history get into the bag " the bag zipped open and all those stuff moved and sets itself into the bag in a neat order
"and you potions come with me "
and the potion notebook came floating towards her with a bag floating behind it, both following her to the breakfast table where her mom, dad, and elder brother Denis were already having their breakfast.
"morning Krys," said mum as Krystin sits on a chair right next to her dad.
"Morning sweety," said dad.
"Morning " she replies and the breakfast was set automatically on her plate.
Potion notebook opens up in front of Krystin.
"You are late sisi missi," said Denis looking at the notebook "you haven't learned those potions yet, huh?".
