Hazel's POV
I read it over and over feeling tears prickle in my eye. I know we weren't dating but now I know how both the boys must feel, and it sucks. My throat felt like it was burning.
"Harry and Caroline Seen On Romantic Date Before Snogging"
Right underneath was a quite intimate photo of the two of them, showing a lot more PDA than appropriate. The last thing I wanted to do was cry in public, but I also didn't want to be one of those girls who get upset over stupid things about boys. I really didn't want this to ruin my whole day but I couldn't help it. The last thing I wanted to do was cry in public, so I think it's time to go home.
I sighed, wrapping my collar up to my neck and quickly scurried over to the bus stop which, of course, wasn't going to come for another 10 minutes.
I decided to take this time to read the rest of the article, that I may have just accidentally stole. Again, I ran back to the news stand and paid the man for the ridiculously over priced magazine. This time I slowly trotted over to the bus stop, still having 6 minutes to spare.
I read through the text, not sure if it was comforting, or making me feel worse.
"Yesterday, we saw newest teen hearthrob Harry Styles with a mystery girl. After getting an anonymous tip, our TeenBop reporters went to Nandos on the corner of Locust and 78th street and waited. Sure enough the teen hottie, and his slightly lesser looking date showed up. Harry started coming towards the restaurant at first beforing turning around looking angry with out his date. He proceeded to stomp back to the car and open the door for her like a gentlemen. The two then came into the restaurant holding hands before Harry sat down and we learned, Caroline, stood taking photos before Harry missed her too much and came to get her. After a seeming awkward and spiteful date, the couple then proceeded to have a hot make out sesh-"
"Miss are you coming?"
I looked up to see that the bus had arrived and the passengers were angerly waiting for me to board. I got on paying the driving and averting the crowds angry gazes. I took a seat in the back next to an old lady.
Just my luck the one time I'm not in the mood to socialize the women starts talking.
"What's a pretty young thing like you doing out here alone?"
I thought how to answer dismissively but politely before answering.
"I just needed some new clothes."
She nodded off for a minute and I thought I was off the hook.
"You should find yourself a nice boy to carry bags for you and such." I smiled at her.
"Hopefully I will someday."
"I'm sure you will, but this here is my stop. Have a lovely day." She smiled before slowly getting up and hobbling off.
After that I couldn't hold it in anymore. The next couple stops along with my treck to my dorm were completely blurry and fuzzing. The next thing I knew I was was being patted on the back by Spencer.
"Shh.. what the hell happened to you?"
I had a dry throat from crying so I just pointed to the article on the floor, a little smudged from my tears.
"Read it." I got up and walked to the kitchen to get a glass of water. I leaned back on the counter for a couple minutes sipping my water.
Then Spencer stormed in.
"I told you so. I've said it so much. I have told you so." It took me a second to get my self focused on what she was talking about.
"No this is my fault, he's not a bad person for seeing other people because I won't give him a straight answer."
"Yes it does. If he liked you enough he would wait for you..." She does have a point. I stared at nothing for a moment just thinking.
"You need to stop seeing him." That got my attention.
"What? No!"
"Then I'm done. I've told you time and time again, but you won't listen, don't come to me with anymore problems that have to do with him. This is your own fault because you won't stop!"
"Are you serious? Calm down you're my roommate not my mother!"
"But I care about you!" I leaned back and just breathed. I wasn't in the mood to fight and she was only trying to do what was best for me.
"I'm leaving, I don't need to sit here and take this." She picked up here keys and started out. I glanced nervously at the clock. It was already 7pm where was she going to go?
"Where are you going?"
"Doesn't matter." She slammed the door behind her. I wasn't in the mood to be alone. Not at all. And even though I know it's wrong, if Harry wants to play this game, I will too.
I grabbed my keys and headed for the first place I could think of.
Luke's.

Sorry this was a bit of filler just to get the plot moving again.
