"And who are you?" Harry stared at the boy with the blonde hair. Now that I'm looking, he's really really attractive. Is every boy at this school a freaking supermodel?

"Luke Hemmings. And I know who you are, but, you don't scare me. You can go around scaring people, but leave girls out of it. Now, back away from her, or I will seriously hurt you, and don't think I won't."

Harry glanced over at me. I think he wanted me to say something, to Luke, like 'No it's fine, nothings wrong.' But I couldn't, so I just glanced at my feet. Harry looked back over to Luke, who kept a steady glare, then Harry started to back away, looking at me, as if I was going to shout for him to wait. After a couple seconds, he turned around and jogged over to his car getting in and quickly speeding away.

"Thank you." I muttered to Luke, not sure what to really say.

"No problem, I couldn't stand to see him hurt a gorgeous girl like you. I don't care how tough or cool he thinks he is. So umm.. what's your name?"

"Oh. Yeah, Hazel Grace." I said caught off guard. I forgot that this boy just stood up for me but is a complete stranger.

"Hi, Hazel. Can I call you that? Hazel? Or Grace? Hazel Grace is just kind of a mouthful" Luke trailed off.

"Jenny or Grace is fine." I laughed, trying to hide my blush.

"I like Grace. Well, I mean Harry was trying to give you..a uh.. a ride.. so um.. I was just wondering would you like a ride home? From me?" Luke stuttered, which I found kind of cute.

"Well, sure, it's about a 10 minute drive, 20 minute walk." This is working out pretty good, at this rate I won't have to buy a car or walk to school.

"Ok just direct me there, my cars over here." Luke pointed to a white run-down car, I didn't know the make name of it. I was never really good with cars. He opened the passengar door for me then walked around to the drivers side. (Which still confuses me)

"Buckle up, love." He breathed. I blushed a little. I know most British people say that, but I'm American so i'm still not used to it. Wait- was Luke's accent even British? It didn't sound so.

"Um, Luke?" I mumbled, why did boys make me so socially awkward?

"Yes?" He looked over to me with a silly grin.

"Um.." I looked for the right words "Are you British? Because you don't really sound it?"

He laughed a little then replied "Neither do you. But no, I'm not, me and my 3 friends are here on a music scholarship from Australia. But I take it you're American.. am I right?"

I giggled a little "Uh, yeah I am. And a music scholarship? Cool. Oh turn right here." I pointed to my dorm house. I took a look at the clock. Wow, no that can't be. It's already 5 o' clock. Wait my lectures start at 9 and get over around 4. Yeah I guess that's right.

"Are you ok love?" Luke looked concerned.

"Oh, yeah. I just didn't realize it was so late in the day, I guess." Luke pulled into the parking space then looked over to me.

"Mind if I come in with you? I mean we could talk and get to know each other. Always nice to have a new friend."

"Yeah sure I'd love that" Yes. Making new and attractive friends. Plus, this will work perfectly since Spencer will probably be out late with her friends since they're studying.
