Ariel's POV;

"Wake up."

"Why?" I grumbled turning to the other side.

"Because we have school."

"You have to try harder than that," I scoffed covering my head with my cover.

"Ariel, come on. You can check out more books." Stella tugged on my cover.

"No," I groaned.

"Come on! Please, I don't want to go back to school alone." She stopped tugging and I felt my bed get lower.

"What happened?" I asked her uncovering my head.

"Girls at school," she sighed.

"Fine, but get out so I can get ready." I pushed her off the bed.

"You have five minutes by the way," she laughs evilly running out of the room.

"You bloody girl!" I yelled.

"Eh you love me!" She shouted back.

"Shut up! Both of you!" Mason yelled causing me to roll my eyes. I quickly got out of bed and got ready. I got to say I broke my record. I mean I only threw on my singlet without a shirt but hey! I was already late. I ran downstairs buckling my belt when Stella handed me a poptart.

"Thanks," I mumbled grabbing my bag and leaving the house with her.

"Hey do you think that they'll stop?" She asks looking at me as I braid my hair.

"If they don't, I'll beat their ass. I mean they have a reputation to keep as the school's whores, I'm just the new kid." I smile shrugging as I ate the poptart.

"You're so quick to judge," she laughs.

"They give me a bad vibe, dude." I did a gesture with my hands.

"Sometimes I wonder if you're my friend or a hippy who somehow took over the Ariel I know and love." She giggled causing me to roll my eyes.

"I'm all about relaxation- and sure ignore me and go to your new boyfriend. I'll be fine here- and now I'm talking to myself." I grumbled plugging my earphones into my ears, New Years Day blasting. "Holy titty fuck what the duck was that?!" I shouted panicking, my earphones falling out. Turning around I saw Michael laughing. "That was not cool," I point my index finger at him.

"What was 'duck' all about?" He asks still laughing.

"I watch Pewdiepie ok, he's the reason I live." I said dramatically.

"I love his videos," he smiles.

"Are you shitting me right now?" I ask him.

"Of course not."

"Michael, I think we're going to get along just fine." I smiled holding out my fist.

"Brofist nice," he smiles fist bumping me.

"Hey could I maybe borrow your flannel?" I ask him casually.

"What? Why?" He furrows his eyebrows looking at me weird.

"Just hand it over," I hold out my hand out. Hesitantly he takes the flannel off and hands it to me. "See you third period!" I smile before running off the school's restroom. I get in a stall, take my singlet off and put on the flannel. I button it up, grab my singlet and leave the restroom. I walk to my first class of the day: Science. I had to admit, I like science it was one of the few subjects I didn't lack potential.

"Oh Miss Winters, have a seat next to Calum. Calum raise your hand," the female teacher said. Soon the tan guy from the other day raised his hand.
