((What's up everybody it's Jinxx Purdy! Okey, continue. Just wanted to say hi ^.^))
Well I must have slept at some point because next thing I know, I was waking up to my 6:30 alarm.
I groaned and hit my phone a few times, hoping to hit the Snooze button so I could lay there in oblivion for a while. No such luck.
Resigned, I sat up and blinked the nighttime blurriness from my eyes before picking up my phone and sliding the lock screen slider to finally stop my alarm.
"Dude," said Jake's tired voice from the bunk above mine, "You gotta get a better ringtone. The fire alarm sucks to wake up to."
"It gets the job done," I reply tiredly, "I still can't believe I actually slept."
With that, I sigh and swing myself out of the bunk. A pounding heading was crawling up on me, probably from waking up from deep sleep. I dragged myself down the hall, following the smell of coffee, before it clicked that I should probably take painkillers first.
After scrounging around in the bathroom cabinet, my search proved to be successful. I tiredly took two Ibuprofen before heading out to get breakfast.
I wonder what she was eating for breakfast. Does she like coffee too?
Frick.
This again.
I sighed and grabbed a mug, taking a little bit of coffee from the full pot before adding a little milk and sugar. Not a lot, just enough. The pleasant bite of coffee shouldn't be lost, at least that's what I thought. Jinxx however was adding quite a bit more of each to his coffee.
"So you ready for today," he asks after a few moments of silence. I nod yes in response, hoisting myself so I sit on the counter and leaned back against the wall.
Jinxx sat on the couch and sighed, "Have you seen CC?"
I shake my head no this time, "No, he was drinking again last night."
"He must be sleeping through a hangover then. We'll get to the venue in three hours I think, so he has time to recover."
"I dunno he didn't seem drunk to me," I reply, "I talked with him. He was definitely thinking straight."
"I guess we'll see if he ever wakes up." We both looked at each other and chuckled, knowing it wouldn't be for a good while yet.
