Ch. 5 ~~ Two Way Argument - Alana vs. Raina
'This one looks hot.'
'No, it doesn't. It looks slutty.'
'Trust me if you want to impress them.'
'Shut up!'
'Aww. Come on, admit it, I'm always right.'
'Shut up before I...'
'Uh-hu. Before you what?'
'Shut up! I hate you!'
'Love you too, Rain.'
'Alana, I'm warning you!'
'Ah. So, now I'm Alana and you're plain old, boring Raina? Wow. What a waste of energy.'
'SHUT IT!'
'Or...?'
'Ill kill you!'
My imaginary self laughed and said, 'You'll end up killing yourself, Raina.'
See? The thing is, I was currently in an argument with my imaginary self (Alana which is my middle name) that I didn't even notice the time until I turned around and looked at the clock.
My eyes widened and I quickly threw on my first option of outfit. A navy blue Hollister shirt, a pair of knee ripped jeans, my converse and quickly tied my hair back in a bun. I grabbed my shades, slipped them on, got my car key, backpack, iPod, iPhone and quickly darted out of my room, grabbing my gym bag and white sweater on the way to the garage.
I checked the time on my phone and it read 7:59. Shit, I was SOOO going to be late for class. And this week being a super busy week wasn't helping my situation. Ugh!!!
I got to the garage, climbed in my car, putting my backpack on the passenger seat, turned on the car, revved and quickly sped away.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Oh. God," I muttered when I arrived at school and saw a big crowd of people outside, surrounding two particular someones.
I pressed the car horn for about five seconds until they got out of the way and I passed through. I caught a glimpse of Maggie's glare at Madison and I quickly parked my car in my usual parking spot, grabbed my backpack and gym bag and darted out of the car, Ferrari, whatever. Everyone was staring at it in awe but I ignored them, I locked the doors and ran towards my friends.
Nat and Maggie seemed to be arguing and I saw the scratch on Maggie's left cheek.
Oh. God.
"Hey!" I called, running towards them and catching everyone's attention, "What happened here?"
Nat looked at me, "Yo ditched us yesterday!"
"I had no choice. My mom wanted to see me urgently."
She believed me and turned to Maggie.
Damn, I'm such a good liar. I should be an actress.
"You didn't have to..." She started but quickly turned to look at me again, "Ohmigod!!!! What happened to your hair?!!!"
Maybe not.
Right. She didn't know that I was a natural blond.
"Uh...nothing? Anyways what's going on?"
