Marble Pie P.O.V

As soon as I saw Trixie standing by the statue, I quickly went and hid by one of the nearby bushes.

I knew what she was planning. She's definitely planning to apologize for bailing on him at lunch time yesterday.

And here I thought she would give up chasing after him...

I sigh.

I mean, I wouldn't also give up if I was in her place. You can never easily give up on someone you love.

I just don't understand why did she have to fall in love with him.

Worst of all, I wasn't expecting a love rival. Even if I ever had to think about a love rival, Trixie would've been the last person I would think of...

My train of thoughts is interrupted as I hear Trixie's voice.

"I-I'm really really sorry about yesterday! I was approached by some unexpected people and I totally forgot about our meeting..." Trixie said as she looked down, avoiding eye contact.

"It's okay, really. Don't mind it" Big Mac comforted Trixie.

Trixie starts making eye contact again. She notices something in Big Macintosh's hand.

"What's that book you're carrying? You like to read books?" She asked as she kept staring at the book.

"My sister gave it to me, I'm not that much of a reader but I do like to read from time to time" Big Mac explained.

"What's it about?" Trixie asked.

"If you're interested, I can let you borrow it for a little to take a look, you can return it to me after school" Big Mac told her.

"O-Okay! Thank you for letting me borrow it..." Trixie took the book and smiled.

How can he let her just borrow it like that? They don't even know each other that well...

I hear a quiet ring coming from my phone, I've got a text...

You should really find a better hiding spot...

Her again? What does she want?...
wait, what?

I saw you hiding in the bushes.

Oh great...

You should be more careful. What would people think if they saw you stalking another student like that? They're going to think that you're a weirdo...

It's not like you have
a better hiding spot.

I don't. But I do have another way
of eavesdropping on people...

Oh yeah? And what's that?

Since they're standing by the horse statue, you could go behind the statue and pretend like you're on the phone. That way, you could even hear them better when they're right behind you.

Why haven't I thought
of that before?...

Whatever.
