We pull up in front of his house after getting back from the dock. He helps me out and we sneak to the side of houses.
"Wanna come up to my room. We can talk." I say kissing him sweetly.
"What if your mom walks In."
"I'll lock the door. But she's out tonight."
"Okay." he says helping me up the tree then climbs up himself.
When we're in my room I drag him onto my bed sitting him down as i run and lock the door.
"So, I have a question. An important one." I say as I jump into the spot on the bed next to him.
"Okay." He says taking my hand and tracing little circles on it with his fingers.
"How many girls have you know, done you know .. it , with?" I ask shyly.
"Actually, I'm a virgin." He says rubbing the back of his neck.
"You are?" I ask shocked.
"Yeah, I know its stupid. i just never wanted to be that close with anyone before now, before.. you."
"I'm a virgin to." I say.
"You are?"
"What? do I look like I'm a slut?" I tease.
"No not at all. So uh I don't think you wanna plan it all out do you?"
"I just want it to happen when it happens you know?"
"I feel the same way. maybe we should just always have condoms on us, so when we're ready we'll you know be ready."
"Good plan." I say kissing his cheek.
I lay down pulling him with me.
"Hailey?" Niall asks his hands running up and down my stomach under my shirt.
"Hmm?" I ask, my head resting on his chest.
"What's this?"he asks lifting up my shirt.
"Niall stop!" I say but before I know it he's lifted my shirt up over my bra and is starring at my cuts.
"W-why?" he asks as I pull my shirt down and sitting on the edge of the bed and he follows.
"You wouldn't understand."
"Try me." He says scooting closer to me.
"My parents have left this big scar inside my heart. So I scar myself." I say a tear slipping from my left eye.
"What did they do?" he asks, he sounds so concerned so caring, does someone finally care about me?
"My dad has always been a workaholic, he was never there growing up and still isn't. anyways when he was there he.. You don't wanna hear all this." I say, truth is I don't really know if I can tell him this. If I can even say any of this out loud.
"I'm here. Hail trust me. You can trust me." He says kissing away a tear from my cheek.
"He .. he abused my mom. he made me watch once but I saw more than that. my mom changed after the divorce, now she's with Charlie and he is a dip shit and so is she same with Anna and My dad. I'm just so tired. Niall I'm depressed." I say and for the first time I see him cry.
"Your such an amazing person. I guess I just never noticed you had such a hard life. I mean I knew it wasn't perfect but I never thought this." He says wiping his eyes.
"You gonna leave now? break up with me already.."
"No! You know I'm not like that, Im not going anywhere."
"Promise?"
"Promise." I kiss him passionately.
As the kiss deepens and our tongues Rome each others mouths when we hear my door knob jiggle.
"Hailey? why is your door locked? Hailey?" My mom says through the door.
"Shit." I curse quietly.
"Hailey?" my mom says again.
Niall climbs out the window and jumps down the tree and I run to the door and unlock it.
"Sorry I was listening to music." I say brushing my fingers against my lips where Niall's perfect lips pressed against mine.
