Clove: From the Beginning [The Hunger Games Fanfiction Clato]

What the Hell?

Clove pov

I wake up to smoke all around. Crap, I don't think we set the fire out last night. I run and kick Glimmer, Cato, and Marvel. But I think they would under stand why I kicked them.

"WAKE UP! THERE'S A FIRE! COME ON LET'S GO!" I shout really loud.

We go and run to the lake. I'm still inhaling the smile fumes from back there. I can't really see either. From my view I see fire girl in the water. I'm guessing she got caught in the fire too.

"Hey guys, look" I say pointing towards Katniss.

"Oh yeah! We got her!" as soon as she heard us she got out and started running towards the woods. Well thats not going to help any, now is it fire girl?

"Woo yeah we got her!" we are shouting making noise. I frankly don't give crap about it. I'm having fun chasing after her. We finally stop at a tree that Cato is climbing up to get to her.

"Kill her Cato! Come on Cato! Kill her!" we were shouting. Just then a branch snapped and he fell.

"Just let me do this," Glimmer says taking out her bow and arrow. She aimed at fire girl, who looked suprised because Glimmer had it. Glimmer shot it but missed. She handed the bow and arrow to Cato.

"No, I'll do better with my sword." he protests.

"Why don't we just wait her out, come on she'll have to come down eventually. It's either that or starve to death." Peeta declares. We all agree then look for food and wood to make a fire, but this time we'll have to put it out.

After we ate Cato messed around with his sword with Glimmer flirting with him. I got bored and started throwing knives at a lizard. I eventually fell asleep but woke up to a buzzing sound.

Clove pov morning

I woke up to the sound of buzzing. I open my eyes and scream bloody murder. Tracker Jackers. They were everywhere. I scream and run to the lake again with the others behind me. I only see Marvel and Cato. Where's Glimmer? She must be back at camp!

"GLIMMER!" I scream and try running after her. Cato's got ahold of me. I kick and hit until I'm completely free and run to where Glimmer is.

"Glimmer, stay with me please" I say but I know she's dead. I walk back to the lake feeling hazy. I fall on Marvel and black out.

"Is she awake yet?"

"I don't know. Clove wake up, wake up."

I open my eyes and see Cato  and Marvel staring at me.

"I'm fine."

"Good let's get back to the cornupcopia."
